The Technology of Old had been destroyed in the effect of purifying the squads. For the process of Reconstruction the Twelfth squad had been commanded to create a new Senkaimon. This is the exit from Soul society to the world of the living. It is accurate to three city blocks.
On a small field of the twelfth squad the this black Senkaimon has been set up to send Shinigami to the living world. However the technology to clean the Dangai has yet to be perfected, as such the gate may be shutdown for regular manual cleaning.
Beside the structure is a small building that resembles a Shack, at this location two Twelfth squad members are stationed, Eric Coreman [16th seat] and Ryan Richards [23rd seat] both people who lack spiritual power but gained some form of ability though body modification. Inside the Shack is a very basic monitoring station with a few signals stating general areas of contact points.
Without Previous Information being given to the Gate keepers and the Twelfth squad about departure the gate may bring you anywhere within the city limit, but less than often the location intended.
