Basic Information

The weapon utilizes a fluted free floating 32 inch polygonal hammer forged 1 in 10.32 inch twist barrel, that imparts both very little friction on the round and allows it to achieve much higher velocities at a quicker rate, the gases being captured and exploited at the base of the barrel, the barrel being a more 'circular' shape, that doesn't cut rivets into the rifle. Having an extended barrel, the weapon imparts more spin onto the round than does the normal IAW. The free-floating barrel is suspended in the hand guard with very little problem, as several Impact Gel pads exist to dampen the recoil and minimize barrel fluctuation. In accordance with this, the stock, pistol grip, and front guard of the rifle each possess similar sized and shaped areas of this gel, which decrease recoil as a whole.

This marginal increase results more or less in a much larger, bulkier, and more awkward device, that although more accurate and slightly more powerful, is far more cumbersome and difficult to carry. Despite this, it is still one of the most accurate rifles of it's type, even if it does posses a large amount of detriments.
