Always shoot for the Moon...  It was still early in the morning when Zheadeos looked upon his family with a soft endearment. His father had said they would always be there in the small clearing not far from the stream but not too far from the forest. His father would wake shortly so Zheadeos knew he'd have to leave shortly. He was going to explore the whole land now that he was old enough to be allowed to go off far on his own. His own two-legger that he'd met wandering by the mountains would also welcome him at any time. He'd not seen her in awhile but knew he'd see her again soon enough. He lightly nuzzled his mom in farewell and slipped off quietly toward the stream he and his father had had early morning drinks at. Best water was crisp and it was crispest in the morning or late at night. He bent his head to take in a long drink. The sun had barely begun to climb over the horizon when he lifted his head from his drink.
To begin he journey he'd follow the rive to see if he could find where it started or if he ran into someone else on his journey that would lead him elsewhere. Head held high he began to make his way along the stream toward the thicker forest that lay not too far ahead. By mid-morning or so he figured he'd reach the forest's shelter from the sun. Given he stopped to take a bite of grass from here and there. The day was just begging and it was going to be the start of a very large and epic adventure that he felt would shape him for the rest of his life. His face was causal as usual, peaceful and calm a mask of the true emotions he held within. ...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.

-Thud...Splash- Madoka tripped over the tree root again, and she tumbled her way right into the river. She had known it was there. and she even tried her best to avoid it, but she could have sworn that he rose out of the ground and purposely tripped her. She sat in the river for a minute or two, and sighed, trying to get her bearings again, before she stumbled quickly to her feet. Boris would have laughed at her had he seen it. She crawled herself onto the boulder, crouching down like Boris taught her... She was getting better at being cat like!
But as she looked for fish, a reflection caught her eyes in the river and she looked up to see a horse with antlers. She tilted her head at him, and as she went to straighten up slipped off the boulder and right into the river again.
"Aaah~ Owe..."

Always shoot for the Moon... Before Zheadeos saw the other soquili he heard the splashes. It had been remotely quiet as he traveled the stream. He'd been caught observing the water when all the splashing began to occur. He naturally thought it was just a fish. They would at times jump out of the water. He knew it was not often that they did so but it did happen. However as he neared he realized that from the corner of his eye where the splashes occurred something black and an eye catchingly pinkish shortly followed by a cry and an ow.
He looked carefully at the stream judging how deep it might be in places and decided it would be best the stay to the bank till he reached the mare. He trotted up the bank to the mare and carefully edged into the shallow water closer to her. "Are you okay Miss?" His voice sounded like it desired to crack but couldn't so it was oddly rough sounding as was typical when he first began to talk. It was similar to have when you have a cold and it sounds as if your about to croak. He nosed as close as he could. Still weary of slipping into deeper water he was not a very good swimmer taking after his mother when it came to his size rather then his father as his brother had he was easily swept away though his cloven hooves came in handy at times. ...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.

Madoka looked up at the stallion, water dripping off her. Her head bumping into his as she stumbled up to her feet. the water reaching about her knee joints. She laughed a little. "You saw that huh? Yeah I'm fine... It happens a lot." She laughed a little, shaking herself off. "Oh, you should be careful, the rocks are slippery." She told him, when she realized he was in the water, and in trying to lead him out, she stumbled all over the place. But finding the land, she was more sturdy.
With water still tripping off her she tilted her head at him. "What are those things on your head?" She hand never seen antlers before, but she was used to strange things thanks to Boris.

Always shoot for the Moon... Zheadeos winced back as her head collided with his just below his antler's. His ear's rang softly though it shortly stopped. He blinked a few time just to see her begin shaking her self off. He closed his eyes to avoid getting water in them. He nodded to her warning about the rocks. He was fully aware at how slippery a stream bed could be. He watched in a mixture of confusion and amusement as she stumbled from the stream. He tread carefully back to land. His hooves digging in slightly where they could to try for better stability. Though he was also only doing so well because the stream wasn't above his knee joints.
Once Zheadeos had made securely out of the water his ears twitched toward the mare who still dripping wet had begun to question him. "These are my antlers." He nodded. He used to try and look at them when he was questioned about them but he'd ceased trying. They were bigger now but he couldn't see them at all very well. "I use to say they were like tree branches growing from your head." He looked toward the mare and examined her linear markings. Where she was black the marks were a pink and where she was pink her marks were black. "What were you doing to have fallen in the stream?" He cocked his head ever so slightly to the left. He'd spoken a bit to the mare so far but she was still in danger of harming herself. She appeared to be like a new foal trying to walk for the first time. He had no other way to explain it. He'd never met a clutz before... ...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.

"Tree branches... He use to call them tree branches." She spoke aloud to herself and smiled. "Oh, well I was fishing! Boris taught me. Though... I'm really not that good at it." She smiled at him, happily oblivious to many things. "Are your branches sharp?" She tilted her head, before she stepped back to shake herself off again. The warm sun beating down, so she was getting comfortable.
Turning around, she smacked her head on a branch and winced. "Ahh yayaya.." She shook her head out. "Wanted something to eat..." She glanced up, before turning back to the stallion. "You there, lets go and find some food."

Always shoot for the Moon... Zheadeos raised an eye brow at her fishing. "Why?" He didn't go into asking who Boris was because at the moment he was not too interested in the name. He thought it would belong to a male though he would not assume anything. Though he nearly laughed when she asked if his branches were sharp. "No not sharp. They are however fairly strong. If someone were to hit them without their own they would be hurt more so then I." He nodded. He didn't mind explaining his antlers. They were not seen everyday. He'd certainly not seen many other then his brother Rhydian with antlers.
Zheadeos winced as he watched her whack her head on a branch. "You should try to be more careful." He nodded and added"You may one time hurt yourself real bad." He was a little surprised by her sudden burst about something to eat and her saying they should go find food. He nodded his head in agreement "Okay let's go. What are you looking to eat?" He looked between the forest and the other directions they could go to find food. ...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.

Looking back at him Madoka tilted her head some. "But I am careful." She nodded in a matter fact tone. She wigged her butt some before she lead him into the path. "Well I was going to get fish, but I'm not that good with fishing... I think there's a berry bush near by." She was certain of it, but she wasn't in the right area. And would end up betting them a bit lost, and traveling in circles...
"Well, I could have sworn it was right over there..." She sighed some looked around. Her brow furrowed. "Well I guess the berries are out of the question. " She shrugged some and was quite fine setting for some lush looking grass.
"What did you say you're name was?"

Always shoot for the Moon... Zheadeos sighed softly. If she was careful and she hurt herself as much as he'd recently seen he decided he'd not want to see her not being careful. Fishing again. He'd never eaten fish before didn't quite understand how one would eat fish to be exact. However at her mention of a berry bush his ears flicked forward. He didn't know the land that well this far from home so he'd take her word on the bush.
Zhea heard her mention the bush again but in some discontent. "Well maybe it was just further up ahead." He wasn't sure though. He shuffled after her surveying the area as he went. He saw no signs of any bushes. "My name? I don't believe I said my name but I am Zheadeos. And you?" ...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.

Madoka blinked, and tried to remember his name. It was rather long, and might take her a little while to get it down right. "Ah.. You might be right but I could be wrong... I haven't been in this area for a while." She had been spending more time with Boris in his land. And she was fine with that. Boris was the only horse she wanted to see everyday even if it was just for a couple minutes. She kind of wondered why that was.
"Well in any case, there's some grass right over there." She nodded her head. "Would that be okay with you?" She looked over at the stallion. She hadn't bumped into anything in a few minutes.

Always shoot for the Moon... A frown toyed at Zheadeos’s mouth, she’d not answered him. He had no clue who she was but he’d not press the matter for now. He looked about sighing, she could be right it didn’t seem as if there were any berry bushes or what resembled berry bushes around. “You could most likely be more right then I. I haven’t ever been here.” He nodded his head softly.
Zhea followed where she motioned to the grass patch. “That is perfectly fine with me.” He meandered over and dipped his head to nibble on some grass before looking to the mare. ”You haven’t seemed to bump into anything yet.”
...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.

Madoka was happy that the grass was okay with him. She made her way over and she bent her neck down and she chewed on the grass. "Ha, well it just kind of happens. I was told I have bad depth senses, but I will eventually adjust, and be able to correction myself." She repeated something that sounded rehearsed as if she had said it, or even memorized it.
"Where are you from, if its not from here?"
