I just got a a Lvl. 52 Togekiss from GTS and in the bottom right corner of its picture (in the pc box) is what appears to be a small smiley face. Does this mean it has PokeRus or something else because I really want to know if I can get shiny Pokemon from it. (I will try to get a picture if I can)

the smiley face means it had pokerus. and no you wont get a shiny. you can only get a shiny with a foreighn pokemon. like japanese or german etc.

That symbol means that it has pokerus but is no longer able to pass it on to other pokemon. It is still active within the Togekiss, but it will not pass to others.

Pokerus and shinies are NOT related in any way.

i got a japanese Celebi for a steal lol but i dont use it >.<
I wanted to use it for the time travel event but i dont think it even works >.< I went to Ilex forest with it but nothing happened =/

If it was an event, then it should work...

it has to be in the front of your party....

BTW, how far were you when you tried the event?

It didn't work the first time for me, but then I tried again later....

Either you have to have beaten the elite four first or you have to have beaten red, I forgot neutral

I beat the Elite four for the first time and i just transferred it to get it on my pokedex
Then i tried again after I beat red about the third time >.<
didn't work.
