Hello! I'm mikononeikan you may call me miko, if you wish. I'm currently enrolled in school to become a Driver Education Teacher and if I pass this course I have a job already lined up. I'm really hoping to pass this course the job pays a decent salary for the area I live in, but as I'm from New Hampshire we have strict guidelines on the things we need to learn to teach a Driver Education course.
The idea to post a class on Gaia, pretty much just came to me, I think this could provide me with some information as well as help me prepare for designing my own classes. I also hope to educate some of you on subjects that I have learned and also for those of you already enrolled in a Driver Education Program I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about driving.
Also, if you are a Driver Educator, are enrolled to become a Driver Educator or think you might be interested in becoming a Driver Educator, I'd love to hear from you as well.
A little more about me. I have been a member of Gaia for a few years now. Earning gold isn't really a priority for me as there are so many cash shop items I'd actually have to pay real money for, it's ridiculous. Being a single-mother I just don't make that kind of money. Therefore you won't have to pay me any gold for my vast knoweledge on this subject. I use Gaia as a way to keep in contact with my wonderful sister expired infinity. Since we are miles apart at this moment it is hard for me to teach her the things I would like to and that is another purpose of this forum.
This forum is by no means an actual Driver Education Program, by partcipating in this forum it will not fulfill your requirement to get a license in certain states (and countries). I have no way to take any of you out to do any actual driving training. That's pretty much impossible. Anything we do here is strictly voluntary and will not be graded as there is really no point in grading something that doesn't exist. I plan on offering homework assignments which would be completely voluntary, but to make this fun or worth it I may offer rewards such a s gold or gaia items, but I'm not a rich gaian by any means so such rewards would be given by my discretion.
Another reason why I am doing this is I have become very passionate about teaching drivers, especally young drivers to realize there are consequences to not driving safely. I intend to use all my possible resources to do this and I hope to insprire you to be a safe driver when you do get your license. My sister and I never had the money to take a Driver Education Program. We both had to wait until we reached the age in our state that doesn't require the successful completion of a Driver Education Program. I realize there are other students with that same problem and they may need some help to pass their written test. There are also students who may have a Driving Instructor that isn't helping them to understand some things and it's okay to ask me for help in this thread.

Rules Of My Thread! I do not tolerate: Discrimination Deragatory comments PMing Me-Do not PM me with anything or request me to be your friend jsut for the sake of adding me to your longlist of friends you will never keep in contact with anyways. Do not beg for gold/items etc.. this is not the place for that as I am in the chatterbox forum I will allow you to bump or advertise your quest or gaian business so long as the advertising is tasteful, is only done once and does not violate any of my rules or Gaia's TOS. Do not harass anyone who has posted on my thread. Be nice! I certainly don't expect you to donate to me or anyone here, that is completely up to you. Just do not put someone down or try to make them feel inadequate just because they don't see things your way! This is not the place for roleplaying or cybersex, although scenarios concerning driving and other driving related scenarios may be used. The only time sex should be discussed is if it relates to driving, such as performing sexual acts while driving and this should be discussed at a PG-13 level. Be considerate with what you say or how you say it because some peopla may find it offensive.
What you can do, if you choose: You may donate to me or anyone here. You may subscribe to this thread. You may volunteer information, resources and discussion on topics we have discussed or topics relating to this thread. I own a guild that is pretty much inactive at the moment and has been for a while where I will post information, resources past lessons, I will make sure that my guild is open to the public so you won't have to join to post, but you may join if you would like as someday I will have my guild up and running again.
I know I do have some strict rules, but this thread is an educational thread and I wish for this to be a thread where you can speak your mind in a manner where it doesn't offend other people because I want everyone to have the opportunity to learn something. I don't mind explicit language to a certain extent, but don't overdo it just because I'll allow it. For instance don't use the "F" word in every sentence you say!
This thread is for discussions and teaching. You may post questions here. The link to my guild is for any ideas you might like to shareon how to make this thread better or more fun. Any resources you would like to share and you may ask questions for me to answer there I will probably PM your answer or if you do not wish me to PM you with an answer, please state that and I will just quote your comment and answer that way. I'm not on Gaia very much as I am a very busy person and I don't know everything, but I will do my best to answer your questions.

What can I learn from this thread or how will this be useful to me?
Well, the things I have learned from taking this course #1 allows me to have the knowledge to be a safer driver. #2 It opens doorways to quite a few different career paths, if I pass this course and fulfill the requirements of the State of New Hampshire I can become a Certified Driver Education Instructor. Police Officers also take this course. In my class, right now I have a Junior High School Math Teacher, A volunteer Fire Fighter, and a Retired Police Officer, as well as some other interesting and knowledgeable people.
