The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.
We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we voyage so far.

I don't know if any of you are in Oregon, but the Clinton Street Theatre in Portland shows Repo! every Friday at 11:30p.m.
Last night, Spooky Dan was a special guest.
He unveiled some of the prototypes of his new Repo Army merch, including shirts and underwear with a kickass logo.
He also sold packs of printed stuff including fliers and the Repo Revolution tickets, along with a patch for sewing onto things.
The prototype patch being a red cloth with the logo printed on it. It also included AN EXPIRED COUPON. AWW YEAH.

Other than that, he did some filming for his upcoming documentary, and held a Q&A session at the end.
I actually forgot I was in this guild until I saw a thread about it on the Repo! boards about ten minutes ago...
If I had remembered, I would have taken questions from you to ask him last night.
I'm sorry, guys. D:
I did ask him a question, though.
On the cast commentary, they seemed confused that Yoshiki even got a credit, so [as a fan of both Repo! and of Yoshiki] I asked Spooky Dan what involvement he actually had with the production.
It was just the usual "You pay me, and use my studio to record crap. And you put my name on everything." sort of thing. And Yoshiki was evidently very upset that they didn't actually use any of the music he had written for the movie except for Aching Hour in the credits.
Pretty much, the gist I got was that he was there, but he really didn't -do- much of anything.
And that Yoshiki is actually a self-righteous p***k...but every fan knows that.
So, to close, I'll leave you with a special note of advice::
If you're ever near Spooky Dan, he absolutely LOVES Red Bull.
As in, I gave him one and he gave me a big hug.
Spooky Dan hugs are awesome.

The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us a little;
but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up
such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein,
that we shall either go mad from the revelation, or flee from the deadly light
into the peace and safety of a new dark age.
