I just finished doing Theatre Showcases at my school , and the one I was in was a play called Twelfth Night of the Living Dead.
It's basically Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night," but with ZOMBIES.
All of the lines are from the original play, and all the characters are retained. I managed to play Orsino, Duke of Illyria, as you can see here:
I get eaten and turned into a zombie at the very end. The effects were pretty simple. The blood was just corn syrup, water, and red food coloring. The guts were the same as the blood, but mixed with oatmeal stuff inside pantyhose.
the show itself was such a success that we had to add extra seats, and the audience was so loud during the curtain call that no one could hear our call music.
So yeah. That's what I've been up to.
