I'm SO excited! I'm going to MAKE my wedding dress!! I've been browsing bridal websites and been watching "Say Yes To The Dress"and I'm going to make my wedding dress. Hey, if someone can KNIT their entire wedding dress, I can sew one, and make accessories!
I'm thinking that I want a navy blue 50's style dress, not a white gown. I'm not getting married anytime soon, maybe in a year or so, so I have time to hone my skills and gather materials.

I follow the knitted wedding on livejournal. It's crazzzzy, but really ambitious. xd Anything would be a cake walk comparatively, lol.
I dream of a handmade wedding, but I'm afraid that parents/family would be like "wtf?".
Have you thought of headbands? Etsy has amazing selection for inspiration, but I'm sure you make it yourself without the huge price tags. wink

Can't think of that they're called... But they're like a brooch for your head. XD And I say, poo-poo on what your family thinks! Your wedding is the one time that you can pick and choose and do what YOU want! Be selfish! lol
