Is there aren't enough hours in the day to play with them 3nodding
I got two lovely little female rats yesterday! Lilith (a demon in the catholic religion I belive, and in greek a goddess) and Leeloo (the main character from the film '5th element' which, by the way is available to watch free in the gaia cinema, go watch it, it's an awesome film XD) They're just over a month and a half old (which means they're adorable and tiny) They're both black-hooded rats, Leeloo has a broken spotted line down her back and Lilith has a solid black line.
Both a bit timid so far, hiding in a corner of their cage for a lot of the time but they do get up and scramble around every so often, they're quite fine being handled though (they love cuddles :3)

I love my rat sir Edward [not named after the vampire] he's a 'fancy' rat that I bought from petsmart. He's black and white and I love him to bits. He's the sweetest thing. Although he's not to great when my house gets to loud.
By the way I love Leeloo's name.

The girls aren't great with loud noises either but they're now both cuddling up in the hammock instead of that corner and I've pretty much trained them to use the litter tray already so I'm happy ^ ^
I love the name leeloo too and I was determined to use it for a while, though I had intended on naming my dog that (but she was named missy before i got a chance) XD
Sir Edward is a very suave and sophisticated sounding name XD perfect for a rat i'd think

Never had a rat, but I do have a chinchilla. I heart her to death, but I have been working so many hours lately I don't have time to give her the attention she needs. It doesn't help that I can't really let her run around in the house I am renting now... there are too many holes and crevices for her to get into. Along with mouse poison that litters those crevices. >.<
I am looking at getting her another home. It breaks my heart, but if I can't be a good mommy then I might as well give her a better one.
