I've just started EV traing on my lvl. 67 Shiny Dragonite on my Soul Silver (I know it's a high lvl to EV train at) and something isn't right. I was training on the Goldeens and Seakings for my attack stat and I was doing good.....until I got Pokerus. I killed 35 Goldeens with Pokerus, and Power Bracer and nothing. My attack only went up by +3. Am I doing something wroung? Should I just EV train with another Pokemon. Thanks in advance. pirate

Im sure there was a post about EV train somewhere in the guild...
Second... ahmmm you can only MAX ev train any pokémon 255 effort points in any given stat... so whatever you do, you may have already train´D all the valid points on that status, and therefore it won´t go any higher than the IVs and nature let it be

That's what I thought but my Attack stat is only 14 points higher then everything else. pirate

Did you remember to erase all its previous EVs before beginning to train it?

I'm not sure if this means anything, but on Serebeii it only says I got +14 in attack on the EV Calculator.

After eving and leving it up 2levels, this is normal.
I once eved azelf with other gastly/haunters, the first level up was +36 (i was amazed) the next level was +14, and the rest were no larger than 4.
I think it's normal, however if it had not been eved cleared There Is a chance that your pokemon could already have atk evs.
If I'm right then you don't have to worry, when I asked my friend about my occasion he said that in the end it wouldn't matter because the pokemon's stat will get to the same number as it would if you trained it at a lower level.

I have a similiar question except it is with my espeon. It was level 28 and i beat nothing but level 8 pidgey, in that one place above cerulean city i had power anklet, and when it leveled up, i expected massive speed gain biggrin . But i only got +3 speed. What the heck happened?
