A few crickets chirped in the early morning's crisp air whihc was rare in any case becasue they were most out at night in the warm air. The ground was still cool coated in a coat of dew. It was quiet still when the young white and grey foal roused from a peaceful night of sleep. Zheadeos was usually the one of his siblings that woke earliest. He supposed Little Wind had worn herself out talking so much and Rhydian worn down from tricks and pranks both failed and succeed. Where he was quiet for the most part to listen to what others had to say he'd talk to his family but rarely those he did really know. Hardly never to be truthful. He was drawn to to others and he would openly begin to talk though not always right away. A wide yawn tore free from Zehadeos as he climbed up to his hooves. He stretched his legs in an odd little motion and another yawn escaped him.
Zheadeos shook his mane softly and looked about the lightly wooded area that his family stayed in. His mother was missing in the early morning. He knew his father would soon be up but he saw a moment to catch his mom alone to talk and get to know her one on one. A chat with his father said he got part of the way with how he was like his father. Now he could see how he was like his mother. Oddly he felt he was as much like her like he was his father. He looked about at the dground to see where the dew might have been disturbed and sure enough he was able to see a faint trail where his mother steps had led her away from the place she slept. He yawned and trotted after her hoping to stumble upon her. Though he was careful to keep an eye on her trail.
When he rounded a few trees he thought he saw his mother bending down to graze on some grass. Where his father enjoyed a fresh morning drink she appeared to enjoy early morning grass. He grinned as he trotted up closer to his mother tring his best not to be sneaky. He knew from all the time Rhydian tried to scare her that it'd likely not take too much. "Mum." His voice was fairly quiet but he made a point to say it loud enough to have her hear him before he got too close.
