And it's a royal pain to do. I've already had to improvise about 3 times just to get to get to the guild since you can't do drop menus with it. Fail stressed

Tiredsushi yeah, thats a pain with my iphone too. next time just go to he bottom of the regular page to click on guilds. smile Yeah I wound up having to do that. I sat there for 10 minutes trying to see if maybe I wasn't doing it right, but you can't use drop down menus at all. Thank god they still use shortcut links unlike some sites. And yes, you could add the guilds at the end, but typing on it is a pain as well, I had to type with one finger at a time when I logged in. I haven't done that since I was 15. They said it's not supposed to replace my computer, but be a nice thing to go along with it......which I don't understand cause I've got a laptop that does infinitely more than it. All in all, not for me. I tried it at least.

He's more or less right regardless. It IS just a bigger iPhone that you can't talk on. I'm sure in like a year they'll have one that's great, but I just don't like it right now.

x3 Once I posted on Gaia from my phone (touch screen), that wasn't very fun. Felt like a decade long endeavorer.
If you could use the iPad as a computer tablet I would very much buy it, as to upgrade my current Wacom Tablet. Since they do sell pens that work with the touch screen system in the iPod products.

Which would be okay, but I use websites that use drop menus and don't have shortcut links as a secondary like oh say......my bank

I've posted from Gaia before from my Wii, I'd imagine it's almost the same in the various ways that it's a pain in the a**.

Archon of Aegis - Ouch x3. I'm sorry man, I'm glad my bank's website looks awful, meaning no drop down menus! xD Maybe there's an app that fixes the drop down menu problem? I'm pretty sure somebody is going to address that issue.

It would be really funny if Apple made it that so people could use the iPad as a phone.......

I tried the iPad, I liked it, kinda. Easier for me cause I have semi-long nails, and with the iTouch the little bitty letters/numbers are hard to get to. I wouldn't buy one though. And I would guess that battery life sucks, cause the iPod touch's isn't all that great.

It's funny that they can't do this since Microsoft has been using touch screen computers that CAN for years now.
