so, i am writing a series for facebook and i thought i would adapt it for this guild. unfortunately, i don't have any names.
so, i need a guy and a girl's first name ( you can make up a last one if you want) to star as the two agents on my team, assorted other agents, a medical examiner, and a techno-analyst.
the plot of the series is a mini (TV) series, involving aliens and a group of agents who monitor them on earth.

I hate to rain on your parade, but that is basically the entire plot of Men in Black. In fact, the M.I.B. agency was created for monitoring Alien immigration to Earth, and social conduct of Alien's on Earth. It was like the C.I.A meets F.B.I meets The Cabinet.
Not to say it isn't a brilliant idea,I for one believe that Men in Black was one of the best Science Fiction movies made, but as for a show with the same basic principal, well lets just say you might have to talk to a few people to avoid Lawsuits. That's just opinion though.

well, here is the pilot (names as used on facebook)
In 1948, Harry S. Truman created a group of men known as the Alien Criminal Investigative Unit, or ACIU. Their mission was clear, to monitor alien homicides on Earth and in other systems., and protect alien diplomats from their enemies. ACIU eventually became the go-to for alien-human relations universe-wide.
Today, ACIU is the largest interplanetary homicide invsestigative system universe-wide
Episode 1. Pilot:
“Whoa, he is a fast bugger,” said Agent White, latching ropes around a large worm-like alien.
“Just hold him steady,” said Agent Tucker,” Look frank, we just want to talk.”
“Why? I did nothing wrong,” translated the worm’s translator,” Leave me alone!”
“Settle down big boy---“said Agent Lee,” wait! He brought friends!” Several other worms started bursting from the ground, wreaking havoc on the city blocks.
“Permission to return fire,” said Agent Tucker into his communicator.
“Permission granted,” said a voice through the watch.
“Okay, duck!” said Agent Tucker, shooting his gun.
“What? You mi—“started Lee as one of the worm’s tails shot through his chest.
“Lee!” yelled Agent White, dropping to the ground,” no!”
“White, he is dead, we have to evac the area, and there is nothing we can do here,” said Agent Tucker, running over to him. ………………………………………………… “I could have saved him,” said Agent White, sitting down in the van.
“Well you didn’t---“started Agent Tucker.
“Well, I should have, and he is dead because I didn’t react fast enough,” interrupted White.
“You can’t blame yourself for this,” replied Agent Tucker, opening the door for White.
“Yeah, you don’t know him like I did,” said White.
“Seriously, your over reacting here,” said Tucker.
“How are you two,” said Director Wren, walking to the platform to greet the agents.
“Just a little shaken up,” said Agent Tucker, before White could say anything. “White, are you okay?” asked the Director.
“I think you can consider my letter of resignation already typed up,” said Agent White. “I am sorry you have decided to leave the agency,” said Wren,” we have had a lot of good times with you here.”
“And it was good to be here,” replied Agent White,” Tucker, I hope you have good luck in finding yourself some new partners.”
“Stack of paperwork, thanks,” said Tucker, setting down his glass of juice.
“ You will be decommissioned following 1700 hours,” said Director Wren,” I hope you enjoy your new life.”

If I may,I think it should be based in the 50's.There are more future/Present day Scifi scenarios then there is Past Scifi scenarios.
