Okay, so someone sent me a friend request and I don't
recognize the name. I went to his profile to check and
see if he's at least a nice guy. Nothing in there at all
about himself except a wishlist. So I look at his comments
and see that he's just going around friending people
because they have the name "Kira" in it! There are a bunch
of people asking who he was and why he was friending them!
Screw that! D:
Has anyone ever tried to send you a request based on something
stupid?
Like your items, to get more friends, or because of your name?

hm...not off the top of my head no, but i've had one person from an FMA guild i'm in send a friend request to me. problem was, she'd just joined, and i don't think i had spoken a word to her at that point. i mulled over it for a couple days, before ultimately deciding that no, i didn't really want her as a friend. she typed in chatspeak anyway, and that really annoyed me >.<
otherwise, i recently made a lot of friends with the easter event, purely for the purpose of jumping around different layers on zOMG to find the golden egg sweatdrop haven't had the heart to take them all off because the event was a lot of fun.
but yeah, seems like some people don't even realize Kira was a name or word before Death Note <.< i personally got bored of the series halfway through the manga.

everytime I enter the arena I get about 10 requst within that week...it's rather anoying cause they're like "OMG I LOVE THAT GAME/SHOW TOO FRIEND ME!!!" I usually do then delete them after the week is up ninja

I get a lot of people who want to friend me because they like my avi. Perhaps I'm mean, but I need a little bit more reason beyond that to friend you...sorry.

I made it almost impossible to find me on facebook because I fear all those ppl I knew in high school, middle school, or grade school sending me friend requests.
I always tried keeping up with them but none of them responded so at this point I figure if they didn't want my friendship then I certainly don't want theirs now.
Its always annoying when they still manage to send me friend requests.
