I broke my arm this is the first broken bone ever and it has been throbbing for ever can anyone tell me why? sweatdrop

It's throbbing because it's broken?
Just a guess.
But big sympathies for the broken bone man!
It does not sound fun.
Hope you get well soon.
I know a guy that broke his wrist and arm recently while dirt biking.
He says it actualy doesnt hurt any and due to that he keeps forgetting he shouldnt be moving his arm around.
But he might just be trying to be macho or something.
Because he is in fact stupid like that.

@Klikk: Yeah, my cousin's like that. Even with several large scrapes *like, covering half of his leg in blood.* he refused to go to the doc, saying, "It didn't hurt at all." rolleyes
I don't know how people do that.

Me: "Pffffft. Bandaid and it is fine"
Cue several weeks later: Huge a** freaking scar.

It sounds like you are slightly worried about it, and so it could be wise to check it out just to be sure if it's alright?

Probably want to go get it in a cast at the very least so it heals properly.
I'm just curious how you broke it.
Like is it at a funky angle or is it fractured?
(I don't doubt you but if you can move your fingers it isn't broken)
Just saying since it doesn't sound like you've been to a doctor.
I don't think there is a specific reason for throbbing pain.
(Other than the fact that your arm is pretty hurt)
Throbbing pain shouldn't mean that something is wrong, well more wrong than your arm being broken, as opposed to a dull pain or shooting pains.
They just mean different things.
Good luck with that though.

I have a cast on and the doc said to keep my arm above my heart and how I broke it lets just say we had motor vehicles and beer and mountains...... sweatdrop

It's good that you went to the doctor, though. You're pretty lucky that a broken arm is the only thing that you got!!! *initiates mother mode*
@Klikk: Ah, really? How do you do that? I mean, with larger cuts and stuff? I freak at those types of injuries.
