It was around noon, the perfect time for lunch, but rather than snacking on something tasty or nutritious, a certain nightmare was gnawing thoughtlessly on a rather large tree branch. He seemed into it, or at least entertained enough that he had disregarded much of his surroundings. He was somewhere in the forest, that was good enough. It was cool and there were plenty of things to destroy when the need or urge came around. Goth Metal Drake was contented to stay there for a while before lifting himself up and finding something to hunt. He wasn't really hungry, anyway.
A bit more ravaging left the tree branch severed completely in half and thus, no longer interesting. With a huff, he shoved the pieces away and hefted his large frame to a stand, tongue flicking out not only to rid his mouth of wood chips, but also to scent the area for something he may have missed during that midday 'snack.'

Dark Matter, or DM to her friends if she had any but she didn't and didn't care either, was out, checking this place out when she spied a nightmare, curious she had gently purched herself down on a branch just above him and watched him, bored, she waited till he had stood up and dropped her tails down so they would tickle his head or nose or something just so the other would notice someone was around and then picked her tails back up as if she had done nothing, waiting to see how long he would take to notice someone else was there. #5C246E

A twinge of annoyance rose in him, to say the least when something furry found its way into his upturned and open mouth. He bit down almost immediately in retaliation, but caught nothing, only air. Snorting, he flicked out his tongue once more, catching the scent of familiar fur not very far off. Another of his kind, but different. Not the same species. He was suddenly disinterested. Swinging his head around, his body followed, and he stomped off in the opposite direction without a word. If this other Kitsu knew what was good for it, it wouldn't bother to follow.

Awww pooh, her play thing was leaving, oh well, time to follow, DM took off after the nightmare, keeping her distance and keeping low as she flew through the air, wanting to at least make her presence known but not close enough for him to lash out once he finally noticed he was being followed.

There was something about the way that the fluff in his mouth from earlier had seemed so deliberate... GMD was sure that he wasn't alone. It only took another quick flick of the tongue to confirm his suspicions. Whoever it was, they were following him, but their scent was rather flighty. He wasn't quite sure where his pursuer was behind him. Regardless, he was already tired of them. "What do you want?" he asked without looking back or making any reference to the location of the stalker. His long ears flicked and the stomps of his paws became more apparent, as if warning the follower to keep their distance.

"Ooo someones fiesty" she said to the other, finally making her presence known "I thought, being we were, of sorts, from the same lot of Kitsusagi that have been turning up lately, you would be more kind, I guess I shouldn't of assumed that from a Nightmare, oh well, my bad, anywho, consider yourself my new play thing and no, you do not have a choice" she said happily, it had been a while since she was able to have fun like this.

Throughout her little announcement, he kept walking, unseeing eyes facing front with still no acknowledgment of the other's presence besides the earlier question. However, as soon as she decided to tell him he was now a 'play thing,' he stopped in his tracks. For a moment he just stood there, unmoving, but finally he turned, his head slowly coming around. "I don't have a choice?" he hissed out slowly, turning her words over in his mouth as if they were poison. "Your play thing? Don't make me laugh." Shoulders rolled forward in reflex and the spines on his back creaked eerily. "What makes you think you have control over me?" As he spoke, his tongue began to flick out between his teeth so he could continue to scent her. Eventually he had decided on where she was and lifted his stitched gaze to her.

"Who said anything about control? I don't have to control you to make you my play thing but it would be easier if you would just let me but I know that you wont and that doesn't bother me, I can still make you my play thing without control over you so it works out in my favor regardless" she said happily as she flew up to a near by branch ane laid on it, looking down at him whilst he stood there. .

His normally unpleasant expression stretched down into something even more so. What was this woman talking about? Did she even understand what she was saying? Or better yet, did she not understand the consequences of messing with someone larger and nastier than she? Ears flicked back when she moved and he was able to turn his head to her new location thanks to the gentle creaking of the tree branch. "You seem sure of yourself," he scoffed. "What interest do you have in me, anyway? I'm not a toy and I don't plan on sticking around long enough to become one." With that, he turned away again and began to walk. However, he took a moment to call back up to her as he went. "Don't follow me."

DM sighed and flew after him yet again, she wasn't one to give up without a fight and nor did she go down without a fight either, if a fight is what he wanted in the end then a fight she would give him but that wasn't anything to dwell on yet, she had a bit of time yet if ever and yes she knew what she was saying, she wouldnt be saying it other wise "I seem sure of myself because I AM sure of myself." DM said flying at a nice space between him and herself "what intrest do I have in you? That is my business" she said, not having really any business to do with him but hey, what he didn't know wouldnt hurt him and she could annoy him for longer which would be fun for her.

She was following despite his warning and he felt himself growing more and more agitated with the fact. GMD certainly wasn't the type to be amused by such a blatant disregard shown towards his authority. If she couldn't respect him, he would show her why she should. In a moment, he flicked out his tongue to assure himself of his surroundings, then halted again and swung a massive paw at a tree to his right, cracking the bark and causing the thing to shiver. Leaves fell around and he could feel some of them gathering on his back and head. A heavy breath slipped from his maw as he rolled his shoulders again, lifting his head to where he remembered her to be. "Go away."

DM moved out of the way a bit when he swang his paw, it was true that the paw wasn't hitting her but hey she knew when she shouldn't take a chance, if she didn't have to fight then she would avoid it at all costs, she didn't like getting her fur all messed up if she didn't need to...not that she was going about the right way to keep it that way but hey, in the end there is fun to be had so sometimes you have to get your fur ruffled a bit to have some of that fun "umm no? I think we have established that I won't be leaving any time soon and your little leaf show isn't enough to sway me to leave either." DM said as her stomach started to growl, she didn't realise how hungry she was and not to mention this had to be the worst timing ever "I think I will call a truce for now, I think I might go get something to eat" she said landing on the ground and walked up towards him and smiled at him "care to join me?" She asked, as much fun as it is making someone her play thing she also knew how to be polite even if she doesn't show it and the company would be nice as well. "I wouldn't mind the company, it would be nice to have someone to eat with" she said kindly once more, hoping he would agree, besides, she was hoping to get to know this other better as well, strange thing to want after wanting to make him her play thing but still, even she was curious at times about those who she had turned into play things, only this one has ever made her really want to see it through for some reason and so maybe lunch would give her the chance.

A low grumble rose in his throat at her words, more disrespect, more disregard. Couldn't she see he wasn't interested in her? And in many, many ways, he couldn't understand why she was so interested in him. Any normal Kitsu would have taken his sour personality at face value and found their way off before he could catch a limb with an angry swing of a paw. At least that's what he was used to. Yet, here she was, following him for no other reason than to satisfy something she wouldn't relay. He frowned.
"I'm not hungry," was his immediate response to her proposal. It seemed so unusual, the sudden offer of a meal. GMD was far from book smart and he didn't much like to think, but the more she persisted, the more he found himself thinking and wondering why. In a way, that was also agitating. She was making him think about her. Hissing, he turned his bulk away from her and stalked off in the direction he had been going.

"Alright then, have it your way" she said as she took to the sky and looked for the nearest thing that may contain fish, if he wasn't going to join her for something to eat then she would bring something to eat to him regardless wether he wanted it or not. Several moments later she found a river and so she headed straight towards it and upon closer inspection she saw fish swimming in it which was just what she needed "right, time to get some fish" she said settling on the ground and walking over to the edge, looking in she waited. After a few moments, seeing a fish swim near the edge, DM swimped a clawed paw through the water and and staked the fish, pulling it out and placing it on the ground, two more times this happened till she had three fish and all were dead fully before she picked them up in her mouth. DM took to the sky and started making her way back towards where she left the Nightmare, wondering where he had gotten to, fish always was the best to eat when they had just been freshly caught.
