How did the picture of the Israeli flag and the number 62 not make it obvious what the holiday was?

i for one have never heard of the Israeli Independence Day. o_O; so it doesn't matter how obvious the symbology, i wouldn't recognize something i never knew about.

Jews who don't live in Israel celebrate Israeli independence day? That's a new one for me.

well, why wouldn't they? it's their holy land too, and i wouldn't be surprised if it meant alot more to them personally than even to the christians and muslims by simply the historical facts. now, i know that th efollowers of both of those religions have the same reason for believing in Israel as the holy land for their own religions, but see, the jewish religion is specifically for people of the original 12 tribes. alot of christians and muslims are not of jewish descent, but EVERYONE who is jewish is.

i'm just saying, that every single jew out there has direct heritage from that land, and it's as much a racial and cultural thing to them as it is a religious thing.
