It will be interesting to have opinions about this.. When Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone: United States -- Muslim 1.0% Australia -- Muslim 1.5% Canada -- Muslim 1.9% China -- Muslim 1%-2% Italy -- Muslim 1.5% Norway -- Muslim 1.8% At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs: Denmark -- Muslim 2% Germany -- Muslim 3.7% United Kingdom -- Muslim 2.7% Spain -- Muslim 4% Thailand -- Muslim 4.6% From 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. They will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves -- along with threats for failure to comply. At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves under Sharia, the Islamic Law. France -- Muslim 8% Philippines -- Muslim 5% Sweden -- Muslim 5% Switzerland -- Muslim 4.3% The Netherlands -- Muslim 5.5% Trinidad & Tobago -- Muslim 5.8% When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions (Paris -- car-burnings) . Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats (Amsterdam - Mohammad cartoons). Guyana -- Muslim 10% India -- Muslim 13.4% Israel -- Muslim 16% Kenya -- Muslim 10% Russia -- Muslim 10-15% After reaching 20% expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burning: Ethiopia -- Muslim 32.8% At 40% you will find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare: Bosnia -- Muslim 40% Chad -- Muslim 53.1% Lebanon -- Muslim 59.7% From 60% you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels: Albania -- Muslim 70% Malaysia -- Muslim 60.4% Qatar -- Muslim 77.5% Sudan -- Muslim 70% After 80% expect State run ethnic cleansing and genocide: Bangladesh -- Muslim 83% Egypt -- Muslim 90% Gaza -- Muslim 98.7% Iran -- Muslim 98% Iraq -- Muslim 97% Jordan -- Muslim 92% Morocco -- Muslim 98.7% Pakistan -- Muslim 97% Palestine -- Muslim 99% Syria -- Muslim 90% Tajikistan -- Muslim 90% Turkey -- Muslim 99.8% 100% will usher in the peace of "Dar-es-Salaam" -- the Islamic House of Peace -- there's supposed to be peace because everybody is a Muslim: Afghanistan -- Muslim 100% Saudi Arabia -- Muslim 100% Somalia -- Muslim 100% Yemen -- Muslim 99.9%

I don't think it's necessarily evil. I think some (note that I said SOME) of the Muslims are just selfish and don't stop until they get what they want. Kind of like the back and forth invasion of Jerusalem over history. It went back and forth between Christians and Muslims.
In general, it is not an evil religion- there's just a lot of people of the Islamic faith that are evil. Oh, and my brother served on the American air base in Quatar for a little bit during his first 4 year. He's based at Ramstein A.F.B. in Germany, about an hour south of Frankfurt.

Islam is not evil. It gets a bad name from a few extremists. The same thing happens with most religions. It's just when your in the majority for religion, it seems to not be your group that causes problems. The KKK is a cristian example of this. there are jewish groups like this, as well as groups from most religions. It just happens. We need to learn to look past it, and see the majority of people in each religion are good hearted people.

Well I think the problem with Islam is that most muslims silently concent with the actions of their more exremist brethren. For example I live in Holland, when a christian here does something bad in name of his fate most christians distance themselves from him and what that person has done, showing that they don't share the same views as that individual. But here in Holland when death threats come in against politicians by islamic extremists most muslims don't say "well its just some lunatic" most of them say. "Thats what he gets for insulting islam." And not a single muslim says when someone gets killed in the name of Islam that its wrong.

No one said that during the Crusaides. You have to relize that it might be fear to speak out, and when someone speaks out, they can be silenced or ignored. That's part of what makes the media such a big tool now-a-days.

I agree that persecution, hate crimes and mass killings are clearly evil. On the other hand I personally would avoid calling any group of people evil. This leads to demonizing the group of people and it is all too easy for people to slip into the same persecution and hate crime against people they think are evil. I think that actions can clearly be labeled good or evil, moral or immoral and legal or illegal. Those who commit crimes deserve punishment, but I think labeling people as evil is something to avoid if we want to keep ourselves from becoming more like these extremists. Demonizing people justifies acts that would otherwise be considered going too far.

Islam is a very fascinating and generally peace- loving religion that considers those of Christian and Judaism faith brothers or "people of the book". It's just the extremists who give it a bad name- such as everyone who kills in the name of their religion/faith.

Islam is not "evil" at all. Well it does depend on your point of view of the word evil. But again Islam is not evil. There are a few people who do some crazy things for themselves to get people to respect them no fear them. They also do things for their religion purpose what ever that maybe put i know a few Islamic people and they are decent people. So to answer the question Islam is not evil its the people who do wrong things that make you think that.

I have a few friends who are islamic and they are wonderful people. So i think that PEOPLE are evil not an entire religion... Just a thoguht
