Tao had remained in utter silence observing the insanity and ensuing chaos. Just when he though he had grasped what was going on something seemed to slip away from his mind,
"Christ, time travel."
The words were low and unheard by anybody but Tao himself. He knew screwing with time was possibly one of the most head melting things anybody could ever do. He was surprised Agent 0 wasnt completely screwed int he head by now.
"So you went back to stop Von Sant. Didnt do it. Joined his company instead. Didnt stop the entities. Its 2033 and you brought us here to try and stop some nutter from launching a nuke which destroys your timeline. What about our future selves? Do we vanish if we run into them or something?"

"Wait wait now.....you haven't answered myy question. Where are our future selves? Are we off in another base fighting? Or are we all dead?"

Ksrugi folded his arms and glared at Agent 0 with a look that could have frozen magma. He gave a cough and then looked around once more.

"You can tell us while we walk of course."

Eiji complated this bit of information and thought of another question "But once we go back, if we go back...won't we have to this all over again?"

Cereah had remained quiet and listened to them speak as she tried to tend to her wounds and walk at the same time.

Cereah's head still hurt and she asked quickly, "Could we stop a moment please... You pulled me out of our time when I had just fallen and hurt myself pretty badly." She hoped they would listen and that maybe someone could assist her. She was good a first aid, but it was hard to fix something you couldn't see.

She had listened silently, however, something struck her as odd about what was happening. If we help him here we might die. If we do live though, he'll just return us to our time where he says we're about to die... is there something happening he's not telling us? She thought it wise to keep these thoughts to herself, especially since she was asking for a favor.

Tao simply sat there, how much more messed up could this situation get. He breathed a deep breath and lit a cigarette,
"Christ sake. What the hell were you thinking!"
Tao snapped, his fingers clenched and cracked delicately. He lunged for Agent 0 grabbing him by the throat and knocking him to the ground,
"Now you listen to me you son of a b***h- you screw with us, even once and Ill take your a** out. Im sick of this s**t. We nail the guy who is launching the nukes and you take us back, this results in us never knowing you and being better off for it. Now that we know when we die we can do something to stop it."

Ksrugi shook his head and then whistled. He stared at the so called Agent with a glare of pure hatred and contempt. But for what is the question.

"I don't care about this. Damn, screwing with the temporal fibers can cause a rift in the universe and send everyone down to Hades. But oh well, too late."

Ksrugi tried to understand what was going on. First , how the agent could have gotten them here, how they all died, how their presence here could destroy the very fabric of time and space. But he then quickly gave up, astrophysics and this kind of advanced mathematics wasn't his thing. He was better at playing God and then cleaning up his own messes.

"Alright then, lead on 0. If you ******** with us though, I'll blow your brains out."

Ksrugi smiled for once and then began to stretch.

"Well lead on then, you know the area better than us, don't you?"

Taos hands loosened from around Agent 0, he stepped back and took a perspective view on things. He had never ever trusted Agent 0. He had known him many years ago and from all accounts he was an unsavory character with a dodgy past. Tao hadnt realised his past extended to the future as well. This was too confusing. Pushing the dissarray of thoughts to the back of his mind Tao stepped forward,
"Lets go then...."
