I'm so totally camera shy. xD I used to be super photogenic but not anymore! I see all of these people with pictures of themselves in their signatures and I'm all " surprised Don't you feel weird showing all of those people what you look like?"
I feel like.... geeze, I even exchanged phone numbers with someone before they saw what I looked like. sweatdrop I heard somewhere that you guys want to see a picture of me and Yama together? :3 I have to get my sexy Riku Jacket first xDD

I don't post pictures in my sig, but I can understand why people do. I mean, I'm certainly curious about that people look like in real life. For me, though, a picture can ruin things. People judge you based on appearance and if you look like an emo kid or a preppy or what not, you'll be judged on that and not necessarily on your personality (as it comes through in your writing).
Seeing a picture *after* getting to know someone is okay though. Because at that point they know me and won't judge as harshly as if they didn't know me first.

That makes a lot of sense to me, but since I was always judged by appearances I learned not to do that myself. But I can see why some people still would not show their faces under and circumstances.

I hate taking pictures of myself. Other are perfectly fine though. LOL. I never thought myself to be photogenic at all...well maybe when I was a kid and cute, but not now. D: I agree with Mugoi that I prefer people get to know me before I show them what i look like, but at the same time, you can't always do that. I like the way I am, except for a few things, but overall, people are going to judge me on first appearance no matter what, so I just gotta show them my pretty personality. :3
I'd be paranoid to put my photo in sigs, but if you're willing to do it in the first place then chances are you feel comfortable enough with yourself to do it in the first place. :/ I don't mind showing you guys what I look like since we're in a guild, been talking, and getting to know each other. Here's my FACEBOOK if anyone wants to add. Just say you're from Gaia. :3 I currently have Ciel from Kuroshitsuji as my profile pic since it's Anime April month, but if you friend me, my photo albums are open for viewing.

I don't mind being in pictures if someone else is there with me! If I'm by myself good luck...I'll probably hide or put my hand over the lens cause I am in fact awesome like that. Lol.
I don't like putting pictures of myself on forums simply because I think most people would judge me solely based on the fact that I look twelve (even though I have 11 years on that...so old -_-)
So I try to get people to listen to what I am saying before I show the face that hasn't changed since I was 2 years old (No really...it will take people less than a second to id me in a baby picture cause my face literally has not changed.)
I admit it though, I enjoy looking at pictures of people. I think it's fun to see all the different people that come together. But I'm a creeper...I like looking at other people without them knowing I am. Yeah I just admitted it...

I judge xD im so superficial. but thats just nature, and i cant say i exactly accept that, thats why i show pictures of when i was 5 and got my first pikachu camera 8D
