FluffyWuffieBunny However, it is slightly decided that Buffy is Xena reincarnated. And if not that, Xena is Buffy's birth-show. Didn't Joss Whedon say at one point that if it weren't for Xena, he probably wouldn't have made a butt kicking female protagonist show? Plus, that was cute when Buffy made the Xena reference, and Xena in turn made a Buffy reference.
I am cool with that idea. Also, I don't remember the references that they made to each other (I have a very vague memory of Buffy making a reference to Xena). What were they?

What were they?forgot the names of the episodes but... on Xena: Gabrielle is running a play and during a performance one critic says to the other 'i heard there's a Buffus the Bacchus Slayer play showing down the street.' on Buffy: during the Halloween episode the costumes they wear transforms them into that thing and Buffy gets transformed into a sophisticated damsel and i think Willow says 'why couldn't she have worn a Xena costume.' biggrin

Yeah! I remember the one from Buffy now that you mention it. But I don't think I ever noticed the reference to Buffy in Xena - guess I just missed it!

Yeah! I remember the one from Buffy now that you mention it. But I don't think I ever noticed the reference to Buffy in Xena - guess I just missed it!Buffus the Bacchae Slayer. xd I laughed really hard the first time I got it.

Buffus the Bacchae Slayer. heart That was beyond epic.
And I would consider Gabrielle and Willow to be counterparts... They both are the main characters best friends and support through hard times.

I thought this was pretty sweet: http://www.myjones.com/limited/buffyAnd Joss Whedon did a comic book that was kind of a Buffy in the future type thing. I think it was called... Fray. It was pretty neat. I'd recommend it to Whedon fans. :] I'm also looking forward to reading the comic entry he did for the series Runaways.
