"Bai Mei.. What a lovely name.." In her personal opinion, she hated the child already. He had an aura simular to that of her daughter's little one as well. And over all, she hated children, that was just a given.
"Yes, I would like to see the pieces." Qiu Shui instantly knew what this men. He hurriedly placed his broom down and rushed inside, returning with a small table.
"Be careful with that!" The Madame hissed, making Qiu Shui Flinch and almost drop it. Luckily, he did no such thing, making it safely to the courtyard, and placing it infront of Bai Mei. He didn't make eye contact today, instead, his eyes were kept glued to the ground, watching the top of his shoes poke out from under his robes.
"You can set the Pieces there."

Bai Mei waited for the table to be laid out before before him before he set his pack down carefully and set to work laying out the pieces before her. There was one statue, a good sized one with a lot of detail, as well as a set of beautiful jade pendants that his father had spent long hours crafting piece by piece, detail by detail. The work the man put in and the pieces he created were always amazing to him.
"Here they all are." He said, stepping back so that she would be able to see them without him in the way. He hugged his bag to his chest and seemed to be holding his breath as she looked them over. This was quite exciting, he'd never had the privilege to deliver his father's work before or to be as useful to the man as he wanted to be given how hard he worked.

The Madame turned around in her chair, admiring the way the pieces glinted in the faint light of the rising sun. They shown almost more brightly than the reflective surfaces of her koi pools.
"Yes.. These are quite splended. Much more Magnificent than other pieces I have been getting lately. You're father is such a genius in his work." She stood, taking Bai Mei's hand and placing a sack of gold coins in his hand.
"Here, a worthy payment for such wonderful pieces." She smiled, only because she knew she had gotten a deal with these, and turned to Qiu Shui, glaring once more with intense hatred. "PUT THESE AWAY NOW! And If I find one SCRATCH on them, you'll pay for it with the skin from your back!" She raised her hand as if to smack him, causing the Dendrobium boy to flinch, cowering behind his sleeves. With another smirk, she turned, re-entering the shop.
After a few moments, making sure that the Madame wasn't going to return, the young boy straightened up, mortified at the fact that his Madame had treated him so poorly infront of his friend... He slowly walked over to Bai Mei, bowing deeply.
"Thank you so much for everything.." He whispered softly, keeping his eyes to the ground. "Thank you for treating me so kindly... And thank you for doing buisness with the Madame.."

Bai Mei was so delighted when he was handed the sack of gold which he instantly hid within his clothing so as not to risk losing it. He wanted to make sure that it got back to his father and that the man was going to be able to buy with it anything that he might need or want. It was so exciting! He was able to do it, he was able to help his father!
The boy's musings were interrupted when the woman snapped at Qiu Shui, starting him a little, and he starred quietly as he was threatened by the woman before she turned and headed back inside. He gave a little shiver as though chilled before his attention went to his friend and instantly he was bowing in return, "Thank you too, you helped me to make sure that the pieces were delivered safely and it means a lot to me." He murmured.
He lifted his head up to look at Qiu Shui, "I hope that we can meet again sometime." He said, giving him a hopeful smile, "Maybe you can come out to play with me and Song Tzue sometime." He said, deciding that maybe the boy could use some fresh air if the woman were so upset with him. It just seemed as though he would benefit from such a thing.

"Really..? You'd want to.. Um.. Play with me? That would be very exciting.. I don't really see too many people my age around here.. I'll be so happy if we can go play!" he straightened up, beaming and hiding a smile behind his sleeve. A friend~ A Friend!! Qiu Shui's heart felt like it was going to explode with happiness~
"HURRY UP AND BRING THOSE INSIDE, BRAT!" Another shout from the madame sent shivers down his spine, and he realized he could delay much longer. He quickly wrapped his arms around Bai Mei, squeezing him tight, getting a good whiff of his scent, then pulled away, picking up the pieces gently.
"I had fun with you yesterday! Lets do something fun again sometime soon! Okay~?" This time, he smiled, one that could be seen. After a few more moments, he disappeared into the shop.

Bai Mei nodded his head, "I would like it if your able to." He said, giving a bright smile before he picked up his now empty pack to put it over his shoulder. He gave a little jump at the shout, looking toward where the woman had gone before his attention went back to Qiu Shui, "Yes, we will do something again soon." He agreed before he turned around on his heel and headed off in the other direction and toward home as Qiu Shui went back inside the building he worked in. The white haired boy was eager to get home so that he could give the money over to his father as well as return to helping him out around the house.
