WARNING:long rant lol i got kind of overboard today so...
ok during the holiday there were really less people selling stuff in the Bahamut server. so halfway into the week we see all these items being sold way overpriced.... some of these items are like the scorpion harness and monster signa... and many other random items that wasn't sold in the AH also rose in price is this happening in your server? just curious as a ton of item just jump in price over these 2 weeks because of people who are really greedy and people who don't really care how much gil they spend on an item. this is really getting rediculous because non of the people who are buying the item are doing anything about ...
have they even think about not buying the item at all to make the greedy people lower the price? thats my thought are they so blind as to think that buying the item at the raised price would help them?
if your going to buy gil then why not spend it approriately and first of all why buy gil? your just taking part of the fun out of playing any MMORPG. and like i said if your going to buy gil then why won't you conserve it and not buy an overpriced item? i mean look at it, if by the time of 9 weeks of the vanadiel time comes up ... who actually loses? the greedy people lose there tax to put it up the AH and they have to resale it! do you not see this or are you just blind like i mentioned before? if your complaining about items then don't buy the item in the first place! and if your able to control some items of the AH then why not sale some items cheaper!!!! you see i don't neccesarily control items in the AH but it seems to be regulated enough that it doesn't grow in price. in the bahamut server the cost for jack o lanterns are 8k-10k and it still is even though it went through the exact same thing as many items where ... and the item wasn't sold at all for sometimes and no matter what i did i still sold it for the exact same price ... it happened a lot that it wasn't sold but i still sold it for the same price and thats how it isn't being heavily inflated like many other items in the AH!.....and at the same exact moment persikos au lait cost 18k each today but what happen was it rose up by 2k ....... that may not seem like a lot but it might keep rising ...
end o rant.... phew got that out of my system .... anyways ... i still like the game it is just people who are blind that can't see these things that annoy me

O_O Well I only read the first paragraph but...
Yeah I did notice the prices goin' up. I'm on the Remora server and one week ago I looked at the Monster Signa, it was 1.5mil. Now its 3mil...
I bought Pigeon Earrings for 250k now they are 600k! Almost everything went up, mostly prices doubled.

silk thread went from 60k to 100k in like a week....ANY NOOB CAN FARM CRAWLERS IN SARUTA and be filthy stinkin rich...; ;
Ya know, people who buy like 100 envelopes here on gaia nd sell them on AH are kinda just...buying gold here >.>
I dont see the freaking over inflation that much here though. I dont really know why.

i dought anythings gunna be done about it, SE havent done anything about when aggro'd monsters hit you from half a mile away...they should get that changed..

prices spiked really high on Quetz also... Utsu: Ichi is up at 3 mil! That's just stupid.. lol

The people that buy gill dont really care thats its messing up the econemy, and in most cases i can see people buying gill just to buy that certain overpriced item.
And you say "why buy gil? your just taking part of the fun out of playing any MMORPG." I dont buy gil, but since when is farming hours apon hours for a piece of equipment fun, wouldnt you rather get it right away and level or stuff like that.
And the reason why the prices are spikeing is because:
1. Greedy people takeing advantage of the gil buyers that don't care how much they spend.
2.A certain company selling gill for cheap for the holidays.
3. Greedy people takeing advantage of the amount of people being online due the holiday, thus demand for certain items being much higher.

Oh and hopefully, once everyone goes back to school/work, prices might ease down a bit. Because demand of everything is gona go down because far less people will be on. Oh and a certain gill selling company is low on gil, so their prices are up.

actually it has scorpion harness and haubergeon and many others that cost a ton to get when there wasn't much people on well everything has gone back lower which is a good thing

I've noticed a price on Phoenix, I mean.. The Black Cloak rose from 200k to about 950k in one month ; ;
And Vermillion... Rose from 10M to about 25M in less than a week, I mean like about 3 or so days ._.;;
