 Arela was so happy that she was going to get to see her new friend Anna today. She thought maybe her mom would not let her out since she had been so late getting home the day before. However, her mother was too busy trying to collect herbs that she completely forgot about Arela being grounded. So Arela snuck back out onto the beach and was sunning herself by the water. She hoped that Anna would be able to make it.

 Anna bounded through the woods trying not to be late. She was headed off to see Arela her new and currently only friend. Anna and Arela had met the night before and know are best friends. Even though the night before the had never mad a set time Anna had a feeling in her gut that Arela was already there. Anna was late because her sister had been whining that they never spent enough time together and about how she was always left at the den. In truth Anna wished she had more time to hang out with her sister but she didn't. Everyday she had things to do, like herbs to collect, meals to collect as well as prowling around their territory, the territory their parents had left them. Anna had thought swirling around her mind, then all of a sudden she felt sand underneath her paws and all of these thought disappeared and were replaced by joy, she had finally arrived at the beach. Anna stopped and scanned the sand for a brown cub named Arela. Anna spotted her and bounded on over. When she arrived Arela...........(Hey i put her pic in!)

Arela heard her new friend coming closer to her. She was so glad that Anna had made it. She was a bit afraid that Anna might not show up for their play date. She decided that she would pretend like she did not hear Anna, then when she got closer she would pounce on her. She laid back sunbathing as if she were completely oblivious to Anna. But her plan was not working out well because she kept snickering to herself.
