Utakan Ryuuki-chan K-Mage And not only does Lestat fall in love with anyone he meets, he falls in love with his mother... I remember that. That was super, SUPER disturbing. *shudders* I've always thought that Lestat liked Louis best of everyone, but it's still hard to get the hold incest bit out of one's memory Pardon while I combine laughing and gagging. Pardoned xd

I saw it on Broadway. It wasnt as good as the book (nothing ever is), but I didnt think it horrible. It was my first Broadway show, so I'm kinda biased. I liked the music and the costuming, and yeah..the whole Gabrielle thing...lets not and say he didnt.
He does love Louis best of all though, and Louis loves him. As for being 'straight', Anne Rice has been quoted saying that all of her vampires are Bisexual. The only except might be Claudia, but she's five and is eligible to count. I hated how the changed so much from the almost word for word San Fransisco show. If they'd added the songs from the NY show to the SF show, they would have been fine, I'm sure.

I heard a few of the songs and I loved it. I am waiting for the CD to come out considering they stopped the show before I got a chance to see it.
"I Want More" is my favorite. I sing it all the time. XD

Turns out the Hispanic lady who was cleaning the dining room was listening and said I had a pretty voice.

IlovetheAngelofMusic I think I am pretty good but I don't like hearing my own voice on a tape recorder... I'm the same way. I'm a good Mezzo Soprano and I have no problem hearing myself sing. But when it comes to recording myself, I hate the sound. But I think it happens to everyone. It's just something about hearing your own voice.

One time my recorder was messed up and it sounded so awful. XD I was petrified! I'm self-trained by Phantom, actually. Copying how they sing and such. Chorus helped a lot too. 3nodding

I play the flute. I like the sound of my voice in my head, but not the voice everyone hears. I dont know what I sing. But that's implying that I can...Ehehe.

I have only heard the music from the trailer, but I was hoping it would be more Phantomlike, you really do need darker music for any kind of an Anne Rice Musical. As for the bisexual thing, I don't think it's really love as we think of love. I think it's more of a personal and extreamly deep obsession. That's my take from reading Interview and half of Lestat.

I was just about to post that! In my opinion, you can love someone without actually being in love with them, which is a totally different thing. But I'm not going to try to explain my thinking anymore, because I'm really bad at explaining and you all probably think I don't understand the book at all just from that one sentence. Edit: And everyone keeps talking about a song called "I Want More", and now I want to hear it so I can get "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid out of my head. You know, the part where she says "You want thingamabobs, I've got twenty. But who cares? No big deal? I want moooooooooooooooore!"
