It wasn't unnatural to see a light smirk upon the black cat's lips these days. Things were slowly beginning to come together, for all his efforts were beginning to slowly take root with the help of others. Aki already was beginning to show signs of leaning towards his idea, he had gained the alliance of Tempo and his territory of cats (which were a nice number he might add), and El was agreeable enough to share his territory with him. Already El's general was appointed; soon, hopefully, equally worthy cats would begin to congregate and hear the whispers of this underground movement . . .
Aaah, and he reminded himself to contact the lovely Navah when he could. The coin she had given him was still in his pocket, a delightful reminder of a very possible future member. Certainly a more stable female than London would be appreciated.
Thus it was with these thoughts in mind that the Basement Cat held such a carefree attitude about him that would have been more appropriate upon his brother's persona; yes, even the ever OCD BC could have his moments of relaxation - why not celebrate a little of these minor victories? It was only in these steps that the great prize could be obtained after all . . . But no, no more thoughts to spare to that distant goal for now. Focus.
He decided a small stroll about the area just outside the office would do him some good. Staying too long in the sewers made him a little nauseas, though he dared not reveal that to El. The stench could become tolerable soon enough, once he had established an above-ground force to aid his partner's movements below.
