At the last words, Kiji leapt forward and pinned her brother to the ground, growling at him for his cruelty. Infuriated, he unsheathed his claws and swept at her right eye, leaving deep gashes on the brow. A fight ensued and the rest of the tribe heard and showed up.
Seeing the wounds that she had inflicted upon her brother, which weren't really that severe, and hearing his warped side of the story first, they banished her from the tribe. Turning to the cub, she took it home to the Pride Lands.

Out of gratitude for defending and saving their cub, they allowed the homeless cheetah to stay with them and she has lived in the Pride Lands ever since.

I want to make sure that everyone is okay with there being a cheetah around here. Either Dust or Meep (I don't remember which ^^;] suggested that I ask around to make sure that everyone is cool with that.
