Dear D.ary Mana is veri veri meen to A-m-a... m... w... Ama...Mana is mean to Ama. She think she so smrt and smrt...jus caze she tran..phrom in to Ama an big brofer Arlan. The small girl was writing furiously in her newly aquired diary. Father had given it to her as a way to try and vent her anger. And she seemed to have a lot of pent up rage, all aimed towards her orange sibling when Manami was around.
She couldn't fathom it, but if asked to describe how she felt about her sister a long list would probably tumble from her mouth.
Annoying. mean, bossy, mean, show off, did she mention mean?
She didn't like how her sibling always had to one up her. Be the BEST at everything. She hated that, hated Manami for always making her feel stupid, and slow. It infuriated her to no end that she couldn't shift like Manami and that probably was the root of her anger.
She had done it once...with a strange kid in the park and she wasn't even sure how she had done it. She had become a boy and she had been so very happy at that. But as soon as her daddy had come to pick her up she had shifted into being a girl again.
She couldn't figure it out, maybe it was like what her brother Shizuko had said about an empty mind or something. She hadn't thought on it and thus it had occured naturally.
Ama hadn't told her siblings she had changed shape, let Manami think she couldn't do it...at least until she figured out how to do it at will anyway.Dear Diary part 2 Ama..ask Daddi if Ama can lern to be stwong. Ama wan be stwong...beat Mana in fights..be bettr thn Mana.. Ama show Mana Ama..nmber 1.

Meeting the twins at the beach - Cole/Riley/Ama rp via AIM
The beach was fine for most children, they enjoyed playing in the sand, going into the water, shreiking and giggling as seagulls tried to steal their icecream treats. True enough for most toddlers...but this one..with pale skin and white hair, she merly was peering into a tide pool a stick in hand poking at a sea anename. Watching as it flailed at the pokings. Father and brother were enjoying themselves within eye and ear shot but left the little girl alone for the most part. Unlike her siblings she very much enjoyed her alone time. She watched as small fish darted around, trapped in the pool unable to escape her prodding stick. Ama wanted to try and catch one, but at the same time she didn't want to get wet.
“ Stay where I can see you,” Perry called out in vain. The man could no more stop Cole and Riley from disappearing down the beach than he could prevent the tide from coming in. Still he was trying to be a good parent and he would keep an eye on them as best he could while enjoying the sandy shore himself. By the time they got tired and returned he’d have long since set up all the towels, umbrella, cooler filled with snacks and would likely be reading the new mystery novel he’d bought. A novel he had been assured would not magically turn into children. Riley gave a squeal of glee as she ran as fast as her little legs would carry her towards the water, long floppy rabbit ears smacking against her shoulders and back as she ran. The beach was the best place ever, it was warm and cold and squishy and a million things all at once! Cole trailed after his sister at a slightly slower pace, he had somehow ended up being the one to carry their buckets , shovels, nets and sand molds even though he didn’t understand how. Even with the help of his tentacles the aqaua eyed boy struggled a little with the extra burden.
Her ears flickered as she heard approaching figures, Ama was wearing a simple bathing suit of deep purple. It contrasted nicely with her white hair and white furred tail and ears. She couldn't help but growl, this was HER pool. HERS. Of course she relaxed when she realized it wasn't Manami...even so she was wary of the new children. Her attention went from the boy who was burdened down with buckes and pales to suddenly latching onto....the girl. Her heart lept a bit with excitement. BUNNY. Her fox like instincts compelled her to come down from her pool...bunny bunny bunny bunny. So intent was she on the girl she didn't realize she had shifted and become a boy.
Riley’s bare feet dug into the warm sand and slipped only a little as she raced towards the water and oh hey who was that over there? The purple haired girl stopped thinking about the water and how many sea shells she was gonna collect long enough to notice a fluffy tailed girl headed her way. “Cole look it’s a fluffy girl.” She reached out to point with both an arm and lavender tentacles sending her off balance and face first into the sand. Oh yuck now her tongue felt like when she licked toast crumbs off her plate that one time ! Cole has been watching the nearby ocean more than directly what was ahead of him, trying to count the number of waves he could see. At Riley’s shout he turned his head a little to spot a.. boy in a girls swimsuit with lots of white fluffy fur headed towards them. “ That’s a boy, “ he mumbled confused as he paused so as not to trip over his downed sibling.
Ama's was too excited his brain stuck in hunt mode though he had no idea what he would do once he caught said bunny girl. He actualyl went to running on four legs awkwardly but still running before pouncing the down girl. "BUNNNNNNNNY!" He cried out in a crowing fashion as he lept atop of the girl wrapping his small arms around her feircly in a MINE MINE MINE sort of way
Riley wasn’t afraid of much but the sudden attack was unexpected and the bunny girl froze for a moment breathing in a mixture of air and sand as she was pressure further into the ground. Her tentacles flails a little but were also nearly paralyzed by her defensive trance like state. Cole stared wide eyed at the fox boy that was on top of his sister. He was not good at sudden decision making and Their father was far away and what did he do! In a moment of sheer panick he flung one of the small plastic pails at the boy hoping it would make him let go. Amano as he tended to call himself without thinking in boy form hugged the bunny girl with all his little might. BUNNY BUNNY BUNNY. It ran through his head in a happy little chant as he then went to pull an ear into his mouth to chew on. Nuzzling against the girl in a very happy and pleased moment before the bucket made contact with his head. Ears flickered back against his skull and he released the girl to then face off with the boy. "Why you do that?" He demanded.

Amano flickered an ear towards Riley as if making sure his prey didn't escape. "Ask for hugs? Why? your a bunny I am a fox." He proclaimed jutting his thumb to his chest, it was a huge shift in personality for him. Usually quite and demured and a silent bitter thing. "foxes don't have to ask for hugs... we take em." He continued before circling around Cole his tial flicking back and forth. "like...NOW!" he continued as he suddenly launched himself at Cole for a tackle hug.
Foxes had bad manners, Riley mused, she would have to teach this boy good manners or he wouldn’t make any friends. To be friendless would just be the worst thing in the world because then who would you talk to? The young curio was startled by with the speed the white haired boy lunged for a hug at Cole, it made her a bit nervous. Still she focused on wiping the sand from her tongue and the spit from her ear fully believing that Cole would be fine because well Cole was always fine. Cole gave a grunt as he was tackled and fell backwards, releasing the rest of their beach items in the process. He stared up at the fox boy in confusion “Are we playing?” The tentacle haired child no longer knew just what was transpiring on the beach only that Riley was okay and this stranger was really weird. Playing? Amano though on it, tail wagging behind him...er...now a her. His body shifting again since her attention was now on the boy. "Yes!" She squealed she had never really had playmates before. Her sister was just too annyoing. "We can play tag! YOUR IT." She stated as she poked his nose with a clawed fingertip and then launched herself away from him and then went towards Cole. Giggling as she went to hide behind the other girl. Strange..why was she shifted so much? And why didn't she seem to notice?
Cole was torn, on the one hand he wanted to play tag with the strange boy, girl fox who no longer wanted to attack Riley. On the other that meant leaving their stuff unguarded and having to wait to make sand castles till all the good spots on the beach might be gone. If he didn’t play he’d also be alone because Riley would play and Cole disliked the idea of being stuck by himself. The boy sucked on his lower lip for a moment before nodding and darting towards the girls “Better run,” he warned. Riley was less concerned about how the fluffy became and girl and more about winning the game, manner lessons now forgotten. The long eared girl giggled, grabbed the other’s bare hand and began to tug her along the beach. Ama wasn't really good at playing, mostly cause she was so wrapped up with being competitive with her sister, but she wasn't here. And so she was free to play and enjoy herself with little fear of being one upped. With the girl holding her hand now she shifted back into being a boy, it seemed that whomever he was focused on for that moment he became whatver the opposite gender was of that person. He ran a bit fast tugging the bunny girl along, "Come on faster! We can go on to the rocks!" he exlaimed as he pointed to where he had been playing before their arrival.
Riley was not wearing sandals and rocks were sharp but.. if she stopped then Cole could catch her and she would be it! The toddler allowed herself to be pulled towards the tidepool in favour of not getting caught, confused only a little about why the fluffy was different again.” What’s you name?” she as asked words a bit stilted as she tried to talk and run. Cole chased after the girls.. girl and boy, how did the other keep changing like that? Didn’t matter though they’d get tired eventually and his tentacles were long enough that maybe if he wasn’t more tired he could tag one of them. "Amano, call me Ama." He replied though he didn't realize that Riley had no shoes and the rocks were covered in sharp things like barnicles So what would he do? Well... he quickly tugged Riley towads the water instead. "Go around the rocks!" he quickly informed the bunny girl, he had a huge smile o his face looking very happy for the time being.
