b a dxxs e n s exxo fxxt a s t ethe stodgy old man && the starry eyed boy US/UK has one of the biggest followings within the Hetalia fandom, and it's my second OTP. Known for their Special Relationship, these two are exact opposites who compliment each other so well. England with his tea, eyebrows, and crotchety personality, and America with his hamburgers, winning smile, and boisterous attitude.
There's also probably a father complex hidden in there somewhere.
So post fanfictions, fanart, doujins, and anything else relating to these guys. Just keep it PG-13.. ☆ .

You Can't Take the Sky from Me by EverythingIsMagic
Summary: "Ace pilot America is on a mission for the World Military when a chance encounter with a group of sky-pirates leads him to team up with their captain, England, against a malevolent group that wants to fill the sky with zeppelins. USxUK- Steampunk AU"
I'm a such sucker for Steampunk. This is one of my favorite US/UK fanfictions, and it's ongoing. :3

Quote: Oh look, it is happening. Lawls.
Obama doing something very Obama like again. What else is new.
No, but really. I'm surprised this didn't happen before, and I'm surprised the UK didn't do it first, oh wait, the UK is now the U.S. b***h. The U.S. is amazing at cleaning their hands after screwing over things on the other side of the pond, considering the UK suffers from more terrorists attacks because of their alliance with the U.S. and because they are closer to the terrorists. Oh but no, the twin towers, fell oh no...no way, a terrorists attack. They only get those six times during the year in the UK.
But now that things are under control, there is no need to keep a close in relationship with the UK anymore, specially with the most surrealistic president in the history of presidents. Even though the UK troops were also fighting alongside the American troops for the past couple of years in a war that the U.S decided to start and has yet to finish even though the problem is over.
Oh my, I got distracted and went into politicians. Anyhow really, that was my ranting and now I'm done. lawls I love this couple, because of the history behind them. There is so much backstabbing in between the two countries that is not even funny. I love history, I am horrible at remembering names and dates but I love history either way.
The US/UK has so much history behind it that I can't help but to love it. Like I said, there is a lot of backstabbing that the two countries try to hide and pretend that it never happened even though it screw them over. Yet when one is in troubles they are always backing each other up, because the UK is always going to be the motherland, and the U.S is always going to back it up. After all, the US only got involved in WWI and WWII because of that.
Really, if the UK is not the most sadistic and violent country in history then I dunno what I have been missing. Yet, now the UK totally became the US little pet.
Lawls.

You know what the funny thing is? I used to LOVE this ship when I first became obsessed with Hetalia. And now those feelings...they've been erased like if they were never even there in the first place. gonk I don't know how I turned from a US/UK fan to a US/JP fan... Strange really.
THIS IS NOT A BASHING POST. Just wanted to clear things up, and felt like I should mention that I used to like this ship. Until I discovered the kawaii-ness of America/Japan and the sexiness of France/England. >w>;;;
