It's a hard fact that many people will not understand...that is why I hide my scars from my parents, I have not cur for some time but if my parents saw they would make a big deal out of it...you have to be strong though and not let what other people say get to you, if they choose to put you down then they are too cruel to see that you were in pain when you did that. As for your parents, what do you mean get away from here?

Do you think that moving you somewhere else will hurt more than it will help?

i have been exactly where you are now. i have cut years before and my parents did send me away for treatment i've been to a few places and the truth of it is it doesn't help. i'm not cutting anymore but still i am very depressed so it never really goes away. i think sending you away will only make you worse. i understand how you feel if you ever need to talk just pm me

When I cut myself I got sent to a mental hospital. I was more miserable there then before. When your in pain you need support from your family, not for them to just kick you out of your home. Tell them you don't want to go. Make them see your point of view. If they can't tell them that your trying to make your life better and you can't do that if your not there for it.

Your parents probably mean well. Just sit and talk with them. What will help you? If they do choose to send you to a facility, ask that one go with you. Tell them you need the support.
Your parents are probably being helpful, contrary to popular belief, it's just they probably don't know how to effectively handle the situation to help you get better.

Do they understand what it means that you are a cutter? If they don't, I would suggest informing them about self-injury. If they do, maybe reassuring them that you're doing better and working hard on it.
