nice! she was able tp pull the creature away from blade, but this brought her more to it's attention as it tried to fend her off by beating it's wings. She was thankful for this, as it hadn't resorted to using it's claws. She braced herself, moving her head to the side to evade one of it's wings and then back again while trying to keep it in place
"Hurry up blade!" she shouted. "attack it!"

"What do you think I'm doing?" he replied as he focused on his sword to intensify the heat. The steel seemed to glow white in the center of the flames after a split second. With a grunt, Blade thrusted it forth at the gargoyle, managing to sink in a few inches into its shoulder. He had aimed for its face, but it was moving around a little too much at the moment.
The stone beast let out a shriek as its body was penetrated. The area where it had been stabbed gave off a reddish hue, having melted somewhat.
Blade struck again, but at that point, the gargoyle began to flail and thrash about to try and break free from Poke's grasp, sending its talons around as well.

It was easier to make him stay in one place when it wasn't thrashing, but now it was just impossible. She dug her feet into the ground in hopes of getting some footing but to no avail. As it swung it's tail in one direction she was forced to follow soot, easily being lifted off the ground in some cases. Finally she was forced to let go, narrowly missing on of the creatures deadly claws.
She stepped back, watching and waiting in hopes it might calm down enough so she could try fighting it again. She wasn't about to rush in and get skewed.

As the gargoyle flailed about, Blade kept his distance, unable to find any openings for attack. If he tried he'd probably end up taking a nasty hit or two. And when it broke free of Poke's grasp, he eyed it warily, not sure what it'd do next exactly. He had to let his sword cool down some as keeping it as hot as it was straining.
The stone creature hissed and backed away from the two once it had been freed. Looking back and forth, it snapped at the air before trying to knock down Poke by bull rushing her.

poke watched and waited for it to calm down, but instead it did something worse; it charged her.
"HOLY s**t!" She screamed. She couldn't jump over the thing, it was to big. There was nothing to grab above her either. So she jumped to the side and tried to outrun the thing.

The gargoyle crashed head on into the trashcans by Poke, knocking them all over the place. That hardly phased the creature though as it turned around to try and charge once more.
Focusing the flames again, Blade let out a shout as he dashed forth to try and cut into one of the gargoyle's legs as it ran. This time he managed to get a decent sized cut in, which was just enough to make it tumble out of Poke's path for the time being.
"Quick! Get it while it's down!"

Once blade had made an attack to prevent it from hurting her, poke turned around to see where the creature had fallen for now. She then dashed towards the creature, aiming a left punch at the creatures face

Before the gargoyle could recover, it was punched back down by Poke. The stone in its face was now pretty heavily cracked, and a few bits chipped off. The creature let out a screech before trying to shove or kick Poke away so it could get back up.
Letting out a breath, Blade watched as the gargoyle was knocked pretty hard. Punching rock couldn't have felt too good in his opinion so he hoped that Poke wasn't hurting herself too much with these attacks.
