It had been quite some time since he'd seen any other form of life like himself...or rather the empty husks of what he had created. The last thing he could remember, before passing into a deep slumber, was feeling the life stir within them. Now that he was awake, he'd come to see many life forms that carried the essence of him and his creations...and yet still, somehow, these life forms felt so alien to him. Just how long had he been asleep?
In silence he gracefully hovered above the ground, his teal eyes scanning and observing in silence while his crystal like skin reflected the natural light that was the sun.

A passing breeze caught his hair for the billionth time today and blew it into a wispy silken mess before moving on in it's journey. The leaves from the overhanging tree rustling as it passed through it's branches.
Breathing a heavy sigh, he mumbled, "First day out of the city in forever and it has to be windy..." as he ran his fingers through his hair, brushing the strands back into a more natural flowing look. News of his friend's passing had finally made it's way to him after years of hearing nothing, thus the mana powered structures standing high over his head had left him feeling small and confined instead of the usual splendor and awe he felt.
The lands outside the little city were a good change of pace, just what he needed to be able to think over the recent event clearly. The breezes giving a feeling of renewal as the scenery filled one with a sense of peace. The mountains in the distance could still be seen with white caps of snow upon the top now and again when the swirling clouds parted for a few minutes. A well sized lake pooled at the base of the hill on which he lay, glistening and sparkling as the sun's rays danced up on it's surface. His wings fluttering every now and again at the light breezes passing by.

As he continued on his way, lost in silent musings, his eyes and horns seemingly dimmed. For some odd reason he felt alone...no, that wasn't the right word because he was not alone. Physically yes, but his children were always with him. Their bond could be felt at all times. So what exactly was causing this sudden feeling? His eyes, regaining their glow looked around and a lone figure caught his eyes. They weren't doing anything except for laying there.
Canting his head to the side for a moment, he studied that strangers aura while determining if he should join him. There was sorrow in that aura and it pulled at Infinite's heart. He disliked seeing sorrow lace itself within ones life force. In one swift movement, he pressed forward, dematerialize and joining the next breeze to come by only to re-materialize just some feet from the one laying down.
"What makes one so lovely envelope themselves in such a sombre mood? Is the day not lovely? Does the landscape etched across the horizon not please you?"

He hadn't heard the usual footsteps telling of another approaching so the sudden question startled him as he shot up into a sitting position. He turned his head towards the other to see just who would spout such corny lines and was stunned.
He felt as though he was gazing into the night sky from his home, yet more so than even that. The way the skin glimmered in the sunlight resembled the stars twinkling in a night sky. The other's hair showing the beauty of night's aura and it's depth.
He could feel the knowledge and depth of the other... though what the other had said was still corny. Finally pulling free from the other's beauty, he remembered he'd been asked a question.
"It's nothing. Just some news I wish I had known about before today is all." He turned once more towards the scenery, wondering why such a handsome creature would bother with him. "The scenery out here really is nice."

Yes his statement was corny indeed but that could not be helped. Though he had a great deal of knowledge, he was still ignorant to social decorum and what one should really do to start a topic when conversing with another. There was a bout of silence before the other had spoken. Oken's reply caused Infinite's lips to curl into a frown. Though he was told just minor details, Infinite couldn't help but sense death lingering.
That was what has him in such a mood. He had to bring some ease to the young ones mind. Well, he didn't have to but he wanted to. Death was only a bad thing when one didn't understand it and it was clear that Oken did not understand that death was not the final stage of ones life.
"It is understandable why you are so sad...but truly there is no need for it. Just because the one you held dear is not here in the flesh, does not mean they are not with you even as we speak. Your friend is now free to roam from place to place as well as merge their own energy with the energy of other things."
A smile graced his features as he averted his gaze from Oken and to the scenery before them. "Perhaps it is so nice because there is familiarity entangled with it."

The thought of what his friend would be doing in; how did the creature before him put it... energy form, brought forth a giggle and a small smile to his lips. He knew just who his friend would merge energies with as a form of torment and amusement.
The imaginary scene he envisioned did not distract him from hearing the last line the cosmic one said, a look of mild confusion on his face as he glanced at the other. "Familiarity?"
He gazed between the scenery and the Twilif, attempting to understand the words and how it may be entangled with familiarity. He had never thought the image of the nature sprawled out before him as sorrowful in any way.

"Yes...isn't that why you've come to this place? You'd certainly not come to ponder in a place that was strange to you...would you."
He inhaled deeply, taking in the sweet perfumes of the flora, the moisture of the lake that was some distance away and the earthly aroma emitting from the bark of the tree's nearby. This too, for him at least, had a strong thread of familiarity weaved into it. The energies coursing through the life forms here reminded him of his kin.
"Forgive me for not stating this earlier. To be honest, I am not too sure of social decorum as this is my first time to really encounter and socialize with another being capable of speech. I am Infinite Sapienta. You are?"

"Not come to..." Oken shook his head and scoffed at himself, his meaning of the word familiarity having been of a different definition versus the other's meaning. He really needed to stop overthinking things sometimes.
"This place is... relaxing. And I've been here only a few times before, mostly to just nap and get away from the city now and again."
Hearing the other's name, he whispered it to himself, "Infinite Sapienta..." the syllables rolling off his tongue with ease. It was a good name, already he knew it matched it's owner well.
Gracefully, he stood up, his wings fluttering lightly from the movement as he offered forth his hand.
"My name is Oken Minami. And I'm not sure how I could be the first you've met who can speak, but it's good to meet you, Infinite Sapienta."
