I wrote these a while ago and one got published in a national poetry book, I feel somehow empowered when I read them
Fire Foretold We speak no of powers of old, of ancient secrets which fire foretold. Ancient temples in forests fall cold, whispers of the prophecy of fire foretold. from brother mountain to sister brook, and in every last sacred nook from frozen stone to flesh and bone or locked within a secret tome. Whispers of legends, triumphs of old, echoes of prophecy in fire foretold. Scholars and sages, thinkers untold The secret prophecy o' fire foretold. In frigged slate of night, or scorching sea of day, ancient spirits still know the way. Whether sea of wisdom or summit bold, they whisper the prophecy if fire foretold from breath to death to breath again, the ancient power's stirring begins. within rolling sea or earthly fold keepers of secrets fire foretold
post scripta: I wrote these before I "became" pagan, If you want I can post more, there are 8 total, I think, any comments would be appreciated Athena Bless!

In that respect I guess its more of a chant or mantra to awaken powers within oneself or unlock the potential of something. like a building power chant

I wrote this a while back, before I actively pursued a pagan path, I found it while looking at some old paper and thought "wow, there are really strong pagan overtones in here, maybe I should find out what people think of it, I posted it in the library because it sounded like a spell incantation to me, does that answer your questions?
