The pilot lays on his belly inside a lightly armored 'cocoon' with the front open for viewing and instruments. The gunner/co-pilot will be in another 'cocoon' will be on top of the pilot and back, staggered. He has two screens, one for each turret, which has a camera mounted on it. He can choose to switch between turrets. What if he had one screen, and it had feed from both guns? Both turrets would turn together.so like a splitscreen on one monitor?Yes, but with some minor editing to make it look somewhat seamless. How would he control both correctly? wait.. this IS the Drathonians we're talking about. Both turrets would be slaved to the same controls. He moves the joy, both turn; the turret will only fire if he's pointing the crosshairs at angles they can shoot at. Kinda like how, lets see....I get it.Ok. And it's very simple to do too. When the top one can't move 'down' anymore the bottom one knows it needs to go farther down. Right!

I don't know if this goes here, but it should have like...really intensly awesome targeting systems. That should go in computers probably. (Yumi) razz Hmm...Good idea. What if it could shoot down incoming missiles Kai? Yumi? Sounds cool to me; since it's main purpose would be for..shooting related things, and an advanced targeting system with that capability would...own. XD It could have a nice warning system that could tell the gunner where missiles were.ooooh.Yeah, since they don't have anything fancy; so this ship will be mostly composed of low tech solutions to more complicated problems. More strain on the pilots, but if they're good, the ship will be a monster.exactly.

Good 'ol Air. In tanks. 3 hours of air. Pansies. Real men can get the job done with 1 hours worth. Even for a Drath fighter, I think that a little bit more than three hours is needed. Maybe five hours worth of air? Well, they are held by carriers or other 'motherships' before being launched directly into battle.

Big Effing engines. More control thrusters than a Scourge!

FTL? (obviosuly short ranged) With three hours of air? No! It'll have to hitch a ride I think. Well, it could use it for tactical jumps. A custom FTL drive? A tactical FTL drive? The Scourge and Rex have (horrendously slow) FTL Drives. Uh oh! Fold drives can apparently be made Fighter-sized.

Two Heavy shield generators, with one protecting the port, the other protecting the starboard, allowing the ship to broadside targets more easily.

Two laser cannon turrets with high rate of fire, 30 rounds a second. One on top and another on bottom with rapid swivel capabilities.
I was thinking something towards the center of the craft, nearby the gunner himself. Probably right behind him. Probably just one chain gun (Could be a chaingun, It just needs to be fixed forward) then, more of an afterthought added on by designers.

Light missle/bomb bay. Allows for flexibility, in that the ship will be able to act as an inticeptor with it's larger stockpile of missiles, or as a strike bomber.
