Ruby was my favourite because it was slightly easier to beat for around the same amount of EXP, but Emerald would annihilate Ruby in a one on one.

i agree, plus if the Ruby weapon was underwater it would have a time limit lol

Wouldn't emerald weapon have a time limit above water?
