Signed, not only because these are beautiful animals but because they are an important part of the ecosystem and the ECONOMY in most alaskan towns.
The wolves help regulate the population of carribou, which in turn feed on the grass. Without the wolves the carribou population will grow, and they will eat the grass which leaves none for the oxen that most alaskan villages raise. The oxen provide fur for the alaskan parkas, boots, gloves, etc. that they sell to tourists, believe or not this is a good source of income for alaskans. Without the oxen many small town in alaska will have to find a new way to make money, and thats hard in such a remote part of the world.

Thus.
I have signed.

Holy damn, you know a lot about Alaska.

Why?

Cause I'm a genius like that.
Plus, my love of reading helps. XD

Modesty is SO over rated. rolleyes

I know. It totally is. surprised

Not that I don't support this petition-I do. But I think adoption wolves is a bad idea. It's a wild animal, it doesn't deserve to be locked up in someone's yard or whatever. Not to mention, it will probably eff you up if you P.O. it.

Adopting a wolf isn't really putting them in cages. The money goes towards care of injured wolves, paying the legal fees made fighting this horrible act and setting up/purchasing of areas made into reserves where the animals are safe. As well as many other positive projects.
