It's a little off-topic, Is it still a bit childish to ask a teacher if you're having troubles?
I told a supposedly good friend of mine what happened to me, But I was too afraid to say it formally and in person. She got upset because she felt I was 'disrespecting her' and now she won't talk to me.
I'm not sure if it's just my Inner Being clinging on this train to nowhere, or if I seriously want this friendship to work. I want to fix our relationship though... I've only known her for so long, but I still feel a little hopeful about it.
I asked a teacher what he thought about it. (And the whole time, I felt childish... running to a teacher when I have problems with my friends....It's degrading...)
So, my basic question; Is it wise to ask a teacher about it when you are having trouble?

It's not childish
Just not very wise.
Teachers ( from what I know of ) aren't supposed to have that kind of relationship with their students. They are there to teach you school related issues... not be your therapist.
I'm pretty sure they can get in trouble if they give advice and it is taken the wrong way.

At our school we have peer mediaters. Kids sign up and talk to other students about their troubles at home, with friends, ect. But talking to a teacher about friend troubles isnt childish. But, personaly, I wouldn't. They might not know how the friends personality is, and might give the wrong advice. Or they wouldn't know, but ask another teacher, and it might become a bigger deal then it already is.

However, in my opinion, I wouldn't do it.
