He's a little moody, but he's super fast, so only the Zeus kids should handle him. This guy has a white mane and a stormy, gray, spotted coat, and he's a big fella. I strongly advise against enemy's of the Lightening god from riding him, because he's very loyal to Cabin 1#. He might buck you off.

 Adonia walked into the stables, finding Phoenix's right away. "Hey boy," she said softly, reaching for a brush and brushing his gray coat. She rubbed his back, getting rid of the hay on his back. She held up a palm-full of oats, letting him eat while she put his saddle on, and climbed on, letting in ride out of the stables and launch into the sky.

 Adonia walked into Phoenix's stable, brushing his mane and tail, staying clear of his hooves. She jumped on his back and patted him on the neck, as he charged out of the stable and staggered into the sky.

Adonia walked into Phoenix's stable, grinning. She patted Phoenix on the cheeks and fed him the apple. "Guess who's back?" she asked him. "Huh, Phee? Guess who?"

Claire made her way into the stales, making a bee-line for Phoenix. Stuffing the apple in her pocket, Claire grabbed a brush and gently worked through the large pegasus' mane, "Hey there, Phoenix," She murmured softly, holding out the apple, "Didja' miss me?" Claire smiled finishing up with the mane and scooted toward the tail, to brush that.

Adonia had a third apple, which Phoenix tried to steal. "Nuh-uh!" she scolded, yanking it away. "This is for later." Phoenix continued to whine. "Oh all right," she sighed, giving it to him. "You're hopeless," she said, sighing.

Laughing, Claire finished up the tail and switched to a different brush made of the main coat. Brushing in small circles, Claire worked Phoenix's coat, cleaning out any lose hair and dirt. She worked slowly, humming softly. "Now that both of us are here, your going to be so spoiled, Phee," Claire teased as she worked.

Adonia picked up a handful of oats, and started feeding Phoenix. "You're going to get fat from all the food we're giving you," she half-scolded, half-laughed. Turning to Claire, she said, "so, seen any old faces besides Kevin and me?"

Again, a small bell-like laugh passed Claire's lips. Yes, it was highly likely the pegasus was to end up fat. They just needed to work him harder to fix that... "Hm... I saw Lyra for around a few minutes, waved to her but apparently she didn't see me. I think she was glaring at someone..." Trailing, Claire tried to get back on track. "Other then her, nope. No one. I think most don't know I'm back, been moving around too much for people to run into me I suppose."

Claire finished up with that brush and picked one final brush, a small wide comb like brush. Gently Claire brushed off all the lose hairs and dirt and after doing a check over, looked proud of her work. "There we go Phee," Claire beamed patting the pegasus gently before adding in, "I should head out again. Maybe to the lake or something... Nah, I should head to half-blood hill~ It's a pretty spot to watch the sun fade under the horizon..." Proud of her choice Claire smiled to the pegasus and Adonia with a little wave and bow-like movement before skittering off toward the hill.

 Adonia walked into the stables, ignoring the slightly stale smell of barn-animals. She had taken to wearing her hair down, and now it had caught itself in the lock on Phoenix's stall. "Oh blast it!" she said furiously, untangling her wild hair. "I'm cutting my hair as soon as we land!" she said sourly, saddling up Phoenix.
He neighed, and stomped the ground as if he were being sympathetic. He nuzzled her affectionately before bending his front knees so she could climb onto his back. Seizing his reins, she sat tall, and they walked out of the stables, ignoring the pegasi around them. "Just a quick flight around the camp," she said, as they trotted out of the stables.

Phoenix's hooves touched the ground after their brief flight. Adonia took care with Phee's saddle and bit, hanging both up on pegs in his stall. She ran a brush through his mane and coat, taking care to get rid of the dirt matted in his hide. She glanced at his eyes, deep blue, and large. Nothing was very defined, his iris and pupil seemed to melt into each other, unlike a human's eye, which was very clear and defined."Whoa," She whispered, staring into the pegasus's eyes. She patted him on the neck, taking care to feed him an apple after their flight, just like she promised him when they were flying. She sighed happily, glad that Claire was back, so that they could both take care of Phoenix.
"Well Phee, I've got a promise to keep of my own," Adonia realized, just remembering. "Remember Phee? I've got to get a haircut. I can do it myself of course, but maybe I should let someone from the Aphrodite Cabin cut it." She remembered the time when Aphrodite herself cut Adonia's hair. She laughed softly to herself, remembering how it looked absolutely beautiful, but not like her.
She patted Phoenix on the cheek one last time. "Ah well, I'll probably cut it myself. Bye Phoenix," she said, closing the gate behind her and walking towards her cabin, trying to remember where she kept her haircut scissors.

 Adonia combed Phoenix's mane, thinking of Arthur and his troop. Arthur had been like an uncle to her, when she was abroad, but she hadn't seen him lately. The last time she saw him, his face was scarred, and his honey blond hair was turning gray. She bit her lip, worried. Perhaps she should go and visit him. With Gabe this time. She saw Gabriel yesterday, but she was worried about him too. She sighed, tying her hair back as she fed Phoenix a few sugar cubes."I'm going to check on Gabriel soon, okay?" She told Phoenix. His nostrils flared, and he stomped his hoof, making Adonia laugh. Phoenix had an irrational grudge against Gabriel, who had only ridden on him once. She patted his neck, trying to calm him down a bit.
"You're going to have to get used to it, alright? You'll be seeing him a lot more often." She put down his brush, and fed him the rest of his sugar cubes. She let herself out of his stable, patting him on the nose before she went off to find Gabe.
