Lily was...peppy. The toddler was awake, cheerful, cleaned up and dressed to visit Mr. Loren with Mommy. Mr. Loren was something like a "Daddy" and something like "Mommy's boyfriend whose kids sometimes stay with us". He wasn't a bad guy in her estimation, but he was messy and weird and smelled funny. But she liked his family a lot.
Greloren's family was Ryan - her very shy big brother, Nadia - her very not shy sister, and Quill - her very pudgy dragon friend who liked pie. Lily liked them but she hadn't seen the little family in a few days, not since meeting FelFel. And she so wanted to tell them about FelFel.
The tot held onto Delucca's hand as they reached the apartment and went in - Mommy had special permission to do that. Lily clung to her mother's leg, hiding a bit as she saw the mess. It was gross.
"Ryan?" she called nervously.

The first to greet Delucca and Lily was Nadia, running down the hallway as soon as she heard the door opening. Quill was clinging to the dragon girl's hair and trying to stay on the kid's head for the ride. "DEE!!" The girl cried happily.
Down the hallway after his rather enthusiastic daughter came Greloren, Ryan following along behind. Ryan liked Delucca. She came over and brought yummy food without green fuzzy stuff on it. And sometimes she took him and Nadia to her house to make things like cookies and cake! And pie. Quill liked pie. Now, there was a girl at Delucca's house too. She was pretty nice. At least she wasn't loud like his sister was. Though, Lily was sort of a sister too. Or so Dee and Daddy had said, but Lily didn't live here like Nadia. Lily lived at Dee's house. Confusing.
The boy rounded the corner into the living room, waving shyly at Lily. "Hi."

Delucca smiled, ducking down to pick up Nadia in a big hug. "Hey girlie. How've you been?" she said, hugging the toddler and reaching up to pat Quill's head. True to form, she had a large bag with her that featured homemade treats and ingredients to make more food without the green fuzzies.
Lily smiled in that tiny little fashion she did and waved a bit to Ryan and Greloren. "How's you?" she asked quietly.

Nadia grinned, happily returning the hug. "Goooood!" She cheerfully declared. "Did you bring pie?" The girl asked, spotting the bag of treats that Delucca was carrying. Quill perked up at the mention of his favorite food, hopping to Delucca's shoulder to rub his head against her cheek happily.
Greloren came to the rescue. "Okay, okay. No need to swamp her!" The half-elf blushed a bit at the reception. From the way Nadia and Quill acted, one would think he never fed them! Of course, the real reason was he never fed them PIE. Which, to the two dragons, was the same thing.
"Fine," Ryan answered, not moving from his spot. His sister was a bit wild and Quill seemed to have gotten crazier since Nadia arrived. He fidgeted for a moment. "I got a new teddy bear."

"Yes I did." Delucca laughed, patting Nadia's head and setting her back down before reaching up to tickle Quill and hug Greloren. "Oh they're just hungry for their treats, it's all in good fun." she laughed. "though I also brought some none green food since I don't want them having to get their stomachs pumped."
Lily smiled, "That's nice. Can I see?'

Greloren blushed. "Hey, it hasn't killed me yet...." So what if food had a bit of fuzzy stuff on it sometimes? It was good for you, right? He happily hugged his girlfriend back, though. She seemed to like to tease him about his parenting abilities.
Nadia peered into the bag while Quill hopped down to the girl's head to peer in as well. Pie was most wonderful!
Ryan nodded. "Sure. C'mon." He led the way to the bedroom he shared with Nadia, a pile of stuff serving as a wall between the halves of the room. He fetched the new teddy from his bed and showed it to Lily. "Daddy got him for me."

The rainbow haired woman snickered, shaking her head, "You have a very strong constitution." she informed her boyfriend with a light peck on the lips.
Lily admired the bear with a small nod and her hands behind her back. After all, you looked with your eyes, not your hands. "Is it soft?"

The half-elf grinned. "Well, that's a good thing, right?"
Ryan nodded, petting the bear's head. "Uh huh. Wanna feel?" After all, one couldn't appreciate the bear's true softness without feeling of it!

"Well I assume so." Delucca laughed, patting Greloren's hair, "If it were a bad thing, that wouldn't make any sense." How could someone having a strong enough constitution to survive eating green moldy food really be that bad?
Lily nodded, tentatively walking forward to pet the bear's fuzz. Oh, this was a very nice bear! "Soft." she agreed quietly.

Greloren grinned. "True, true. What doesn't make you sick, makes you stronger, right?" He glanced down to where Nadia and Quill were practically diving head first into the bag. "You two know you have to wait to eat pie AFTER dinner..." He warned. Living with Quill hadn't been so bad, but the mini-dragon had seemed to pass on a craving for pie and other sweets to Nadia. And she'd eat pie until it made her sick... and then probably some more.
Ryan smiled and nodded. "Daddy took me without Nadia and Quill, too!" That made it even more special in the boy's mind. He often felt a bit left out now that Quill spent so much time with his sister, but that just meant that he got a bit more "Daddy and Me" time then he did in the past.

"You anyway." Delucca agreed, shooing the little ones out of the bag, "Don't eat it all now or you'll not have any later." she pointed out.
"That's good." Lily whispered before nodding some. Parent time was good. "Did they get to have fun later though? No leaving out."
