"Thanks", I said smiling. "I needed my glasses". I reached in to the left pocket of my red duffle bag and pulled out a pair of brown plastic framed glassses. I took out my green contacts revealing my deep brown eyes. I slipped on the glasses over my eyes and laid back on the ground sighing a happy sigh.

Rex looked at her a little confused. "Since when do you have glasses? And, you seriously made me bring an entire bag just for you glasses?" Rex laughed a little. He was tired, so he laid back in the sand and closed his eyes a little.

"First off I have had glasses since first grade and second I really don't know why I made you bring the whole bag, didn't think about it I guess, oh well too late know" I laid down next to him still slightly laughing.

"That makes perfect sense," Rex said jokingly. He yawned a little and pulled his sweater a little closer around him and moved so that he was more comfortable. Rex completely shut his eyes and yawned once more. "I'm tired..." he began, then started dozing off.

"Oh and I needed the duffle bag for a blanket too" I looked at rex who was practically asleep I rolled away from him a little and fell asleep which was rather unlike me consider it usually took at least a half an hour for me to fall asleep but I didn't even realize it. I yawned and let sleep wash over me.

Rex awoke with a start. 'Where in the name of Hades..." he bagan, looking around him. He sat up as he remembered falling asleep here. He saw Emma sleeping a few feet away. "Well I guess I'll leave her a note." Rex dug through Emma's bag for pen and paper. Once he found some, he wrote down that he'd gone back to his cabin for a while. That's where she could find him if she wanted.

I woke up in the warm sand. The sun was shiney bright and warming my cold body. I had a blanket draped over me and my glasses were to the side. I got up a stretched. Next to me was a note from Rex, it was saying that he would ve in his cabin. I would find him later. Right then I was just going to explore.

Brenn set down her bag as she looked over the water. Having gone straight to Cabin 11 as soon as she was directed there, she hadn't gotten the chance to look at the scenery very much since arriving at camp.
Seeing the sunlight reflecting off the water, she whistled low under her breath. There certainly is no shortage of nice scenery round here, she thought as she proceeded on to investigating the rest of the grounds.

Brenn hurried down attempting to trace what she could remember of her footsteps. She was grateful that she didn't explore too much of the grounds, so she had a smaller space to work with. Working quickly, she combed through the grass at the base of a tree. You always had a keen eye for spotting things, her mother's voice resounded in her head. Tears stung at her eyes as she slumped back against the tree.
I couldn't possibly ask anyone to help me, she thought, looking over the water that reflected the overcast sky. Rex is too busy and... her mind flashed to the child of Hephaestus who had apologized to her in the cabin. Well, it's worth a shot, she thought as she straightened up. The blood rushed from her head at the sudden change in position, and she nearly dropped to the ground. Attempting to rub the spots of light that had appeared in her vision from the event, her hand came back wet. She decided to lay against the tree for a while to rest. She closed her eyes, promising herself that she wouldn't drift off for long.
Waking up a few minutes later, she sighed and jogged back to the cabin.

 I walked to the beach. Even after my nap my stomach still had knots, I couldn't get Rex out of my head. I was stupid for asking him. I hadn't even really been what I had wanted, but there was a few reasons why I had asked him, 1- I didn't want him to get a different girlfriend and hang around her all the time. I'd feel like the third wheel. 2- I wanted someone to kiss me and be lovey-dovey with me. 3- Well there was no third reason. I sighed and slipped slowly into the cool water. After a while I decided I needed to talk to him so I got up and headed toward the Hermes cabin.

Oh, no. This would defenitly not work. He couldn’t wear yellow anymore! Today was the day he actually went through his wardrob to see if anythign matched his wings. Which, actually, thankfully, the camp half-blood shirt counted as a yellow shirt instead of an orange shirt. So making it into a ball, he tossed it into the pile of all the other unstyleable shirts he had or just couldn’t match anymore. Shame really, cause he was planning to let a drakon eat them instead of donating them to some charitable charity. And after that, he planned to spend the rest of his time making holes for his wings so he didn’t sound like he ripped his pants or something like that everytime he went to stretch them. And, maybe if he felt like it, just keep them out? His olive eyes scanned the Hermes cabin floor, seeing as a Notus cabin was still never built, with his two piles of clothes trying to get the nerve to throw them. Finally, he lefted up the noncoolish pile of clothes, and decided to dump them all on some unclaimed dude’s sleeping bag. Happy Birthday to whoever they where.
Once done with the painful goodbye with his clothes, he, well, was lazy. His hand still hurt from punching Alyson in the face and used that as an excuse to not make the holes in the back of his shirts. His mind did a playback of his and her conversation and the incident only to come back into reality when the head counciler of the cabin snapped in front of his face three times like he was in an trance. The head cabin counsler shook his head and replied to Nethun’s surprise,”Drop that stupid incident behind you man. What’s that- like the seventeenth time you blanked out just alone in this cabin? Keep on doing that and she’s gonna kick your butt all the way to the underworld and back when your in one of those trances.” Okay, say he’s stubborn but boy did he hate that he had a point. Nathan rubbed his head with his hand. ”Yeah, guess your right.” The Hermes kid sighed and shook his head, his hand slightly going for Nathan’s butt hoping to steal his wallet. ”Guess? No, my friend. I’m 100% correct on this one. And keep on thinking of her, and I’ll start to believe you might actually gots yourself a crush on her.” The boy winked and Nathan’s face went blank as he felt the dude’s hand on his butt. ”Ah, man, you don’t have to worry ‘bout that!” Nethuns responded happily with a huge smile patting the head counciler on the back, keeping his hand on the boys farthest shoulder. ”I’d never cheat on you,” he continued his voice more romantic as he leaned over to kiss the other boy who jumped back instantly freaking out what was happening, making Nathan’s wallet fall out of his hands. ”Dude! What the hell?! Take your wallet back if it means that!” the other boy responded running out of the cabin. Oh boy, not again.
The son of Notus’s face blushed with embrassament of what just happened. Actually, he didn’t even know what did just happen there. He honestly thought the boy was flirting with him, especially with the choice of words. Not like, trying to steal his money or anything. Besides, the counciler should’ve known that if he wanted money from Nethuns, all he needed to do was ask. He really wasn’t much of a greedy or selflish person. But oh well, he shrugged picking up the wallet that still rested on the floor stuffing it back into his back pocket. His eyes noticed, though, we was being watched and couldn’t take it anymore seeing as he ran, quickly rushed, speed walked out of there as quickly as possible. He originaly wanted to go to the woods, but decided for a change of scenery as usual. Which wasn’t really much as he headed to the lake, the thing that rested right to the side of the woods. The only difference between there and the big pond was one had a big pond a little bit more open space really. But hey, what more could you ask for than a nice cold lake to cool you off? Nethuns walked along edge of the lake for a couple of minutes, just staring at it reflecting the sun’s rays inbetween the clouds, before he jumped in, with all of his clothes on except for shoes and socks. He wondered if his wings would be a problem is the water got inbetween the feathers as he dived down deeper. Bubbles soon escaped his mouth as he ran out of breat as he reached the bottom and he soon raced back up to get air. Once he got his face out of the water and could stand, he breathed in and out quickly with almost no breath. Water was also spewing out of his mouth seeing as some escaped into mouth when he wasa fool and opened his mouth underwater. But, despite that part, that nice little dip was nice and refreshing. Though, he decided to just relax on land than in water. Seemed safer in his opinon.
