And I love the new name, Sabrina!
This is just something that happened to my new chosen character like....earlier in his life. I didn't feel like putting it in the Character log, and I'd like constructive criticism on it. ^^
The small bright ginger kit padded after his mother, weariness putting him in a fog. He inched foward a little more, and landed with a thud on the cool grass. He stared pleadingly at his mother. "Mother, I don't want to play this game anymore! I'm cold and tired! Can I sleep now?" he asked, his bluish green eyes glinting in the dawn light. To his dismay, Rose shook her head.
"No, we must keep going! We can't go back home, Sun," she meowed. A look of fear and urgency fell in her eyes.
Sun sighed and sat up, padding toward Rose. Suddenly, she froze, and an unfamiliar scent hit Sun's nostrils.
Rose hissed angrily, whipping her head around to face what was rustling in the bushes. Soon enough, an orange animal loomed over his mother, hatred in his eyes. All became silent.
A single cry rang out through the trees. "Run!" Rose yowled, barelling into Sun. Sun hit the ground with a thud before scrambling ahead of his mother. "What is that?" he asked behind him, still charging through the woods. A hiss came from behind him. "Nevermind that!" She shoved Sun into a bush, her flanks heaving. Her eyes searched around the bushes, resting on Sun. Sun shrank down.
Rose sat closer. "Listen to me. I want you to follow the path we took back to our housefolk. They'll take care of you there," she began inching out of the bush. Sun shook his head worriedly. "What about you?"
"Don't worry about me! I'll meet you there soon. Now, GO!" she yowled, charging out of the bushes, toward the fox that was charging toward them.
Sun shrieked as he watched Rose careen toward the orange and black animal. "Mother! Don't leave me! I don't want you to go!" he howled, sorrow searing his throat. He quickly backed out of the other side of the bushes, glancing around. Everything seemed so foreign to him without his mother to guide him. He felt his eyes water, and he padded north of him, not sure of where to go. He padded through a patch of grass, and stopped as shrieking erupted from behind him. He whipped his head around, shrinking as he saw what it was. A human loomed over him, his face screwed into an odd expression. He bent down, extending his paw. Curiously, Sun poked his nose at its paw. It felt warm, and had the scent of milk. Almost like Rose.
Sun padded closer, and the human picked him up, squeezing him close to his chest. Sun gasped for air, trying to wiggle out from his grasp. It was no use. He was trapped.
The human charged inside, setting Sun down gently. He stroked him gently, and dartedout of sight. When he came back, another human came with him with a shiny leaf-like thing. It set the leaf thing in front of Sun, her face scrunched up like the other had had his face when he had carried him in the nest.
Sun quickly scented the leaf. There was a white liquid in it. He twitched his tail in happiness as he recognized the scent. Milk.
He bent down to lap a few drops from the shiny leaf. He grinned and layed in front of the bowl, curling up into a ball. He drifted off to sleep, forgetting about the other events that had happened earlier.

Sun awoke to the sound of birds calling. He yawned sitting up. He froze as he gazed around at his surroundings. Where was he?! And where was Rose?!
His memories came back, and he sighed. He couldn't scent her here.
He jumped up to a window sill, staring at what lay ahead of him. He glanced around, half expecting to see his mother there, beckoning him with her brown and cream tabby tail. But he knew the truth. His mother wasn't coming back.
Sun sighed and jumped off of the window sill, padding down a path. He began at a brisk pace, and ran out of the kitchen. He turned down paths, not really conscious of where he was heading to.
Suddenly, he was in the same grip he had been in when the human had picked him up from outside. He wriggled around. "Let go of me!" he wailed, trying to get free. Finally, the grip loosened, and the human began carrying him down a path. Soon enough, he was back outside.
Sun sighed a sigh of relief. He turned back to the human, bowing his head, before dashing around the small field-like patch of grass. He grinned and lied down in the sun, yawning.
