Secondly, characters will be fluent in English. English is the Lingua Franca, and the recognized language of the Shutensa System. The game isn't translated into other languages, which has caused some anger against Aquila, but that's the way it is.

The Cinematograph... –
Like Dracula in Bram Stoker's the movie, Bob Jones wants to go to the movies. But Bob doesn't go just once, he's a regular reel-head. He reads review blogs, listens to podcasts, he's even got a signed photograph Of Roger Ebert. Bob lives and breaths in celluloid. He'd loves to bring friends on his binges, but he'll still go if he's flying solo for the weekend. It's THAT important.

[*][ Aquila Location: ] Mangetsu or Avalon
[*][ Aquila Status: ] Are they accepted into the pros? Are they currently on the island on a visitor visa to apply to tournaments in hopes of becoming a pro? This status will change, so keep it updated.

“They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” - Well Spoken - Bob Jones is a writer par extraordinaire, and from high school onwards started focusing his creativity towards Speech Writing and delivery. He loves words, how they play, and how they sound, and he's got a natural knack for stringing them together in ways meant to move people like yelling Fire in a crowded hall. He gets a few bucks here and there from local officials, writing presentments and party addresses, but he dreams of getting a break to help out a screenwriter with some growing stuff for the silver screen. If only Sean Connery could be the one to play the character that reads his lines...
[*][ Personal Flaws: ] nobody is perfect. Describe at least two things that make this person fallible and human. These are bad things that will affect their personality, decision making, and role play.
EX:
Head in the Clouds - Bob is just too much of a dreamer to pay attention all the time to the little stuff. His bills are always paid a couple days late, he could really use an overdraft account for his bank, and he found he HAD to buy one of those 90s wallet chains from Spencer's if he was going to make sure he didn't leave his personal belongings at every location he ever sat down. What's important to him is where he's hoping to get rather then how he's going to get himself there, and for better or worse it bleeds into personal relationships, too. Bob doesn't write, he probably doesn't call unless he's excited or needs something, and he doesn't remember what lecture was because he was chatting up the girl a row over about the rave that happens tonight. He comes off as irresponsible or callus sometimes, but it isn't that he's intentionally slighting anyone, he just isn't paying attention.
[*][ Brief History: ]
[*][ Physical Description: ] For the player, keep it realistic. Without coloured contacts or eye-dyeing, many anime colours are impossible. Same goes for hair - wild colours should be explained with research into extensions, dyes, wigs, etc. Body type, fashion sense, height and weight. Do some research.
Disabilities should be taken into account as far as missing eyes, paraplegia, etc. Someone who has been disabled for long periods or most of their life actually has different brain paths. They won't use those aspects/nerves well in Shutensa because they don't have the neural ability at first. SO think it through before you want to make a Real Life player with one eye who plays a Shu Avatar that is an archer.
Crazy aspects in colour/features should be left to the Avatar, which lives in the fantasy Shutensa world.
