Giggling lightly to herself Draka was glad she wasn’t the only one in the dark about the pups with their neighbors, they really should get on that though it seemed like the puppy hadn’t wanted to go home before and the fact that her, as an alpha, had sent him away as such had probably broken his little heart. Who was his mother? She would have to meet the female and speak with her attitude towards her pups; surely she was giving them love correct? Or maybe she had died during birthing? Oh gosh, what would that have done to Jono?
Suddenly out of the corner of Draka’s eye she noticed she noticed the small puff of fur from before, looking back to Sam Draka had to bite her lip before she said her decision aloud. “Sam, I must go and speak with Rock for a moment… To clear the air with something. Will you do me the honor of waiting for me? I know you have already waited a long time, but I won’t leave again.” Her eyes shine with determination before she leaned in and nestled his neck lovingly, she wouldn’t ever leave her mate again.

Sam cocked his head only slightly as Draka spoke, but then followed her eyes to the small brown and pink puppy sitting in the middle of the wide open 'common' area of the dens. The pup must have been smart to find his way in, though he seemed very young. Sam was learning quickly, however, that you could never judge a wolf by age or looks. They would always surprise you.
This was the first new blood he had seen come out of South Seaside since Hannah and Johnny had had their litter - Pol and Sol. He was still doing a good job of not letting anyone know how those two pups had come to be under his care, and everyone else in his pack was doing a good job of not being nosy about them. He appreciated his pack for that, and hoped that throughout the life of it, things would remain that way. Curious, but not troubling in its want to know.
He nodded to his mate with a smile at her promise to not leave again. He knew it wasn't completely her fault she had gone in the first place. The heart and the body do strange things during great duress, and the big male figured having your love kill your only brother was one of those situations. He continued his way down the ramp, giving the small boy his most friendly and caring smile. "This is your home, too." he reassured softly, as he noticed the boy's face was wet and streaked with tears.
Fighting his urge to interfere and gain justice for this pup, he knew he had to let Draka take over for herself. She was alpha of this pack too, and would come to him if she needed his help. With that thought, the big male disappeared into the large den he shared with her, thoughts of the future they would have together floating in the forefront of his mind.
