The cherry blossoms seemed to glow in the pale light of th emoon, the soft glow from the paper lantern castign faint shadows through the garden as the samurai enjoyed his late night walk. A quiet man at any time, the long standing peace between th efeudal lords had given him the chance to indulge in the simple pleasures of his life. The small bird on his arm preening itself quietly. Pausing at the koi pond, the warrior closed his eyes and let himself drift off into the clutches of sleep.
