if there was a Harvest Moon anime? My friend and I were talking about it the other day and we think that would look really good.
What are your guy's opinion? Do you think it would be cool to watch a Harvest Moon anime? Why or why not?

I don't think I would like to see a harvest moon anime. It'll be one of 2 things:
1) Another anime where all the girls like the main character, and the anime ends up undecided and incomplete.
2) The main characer will end up marrying a character most of the population does not like.
I will also add that the anime will either focus on one game (Which lots of people have not played) Several games at once (Which is never a good idea) invent a new set of characters (I can already see the fan rage). Also, the common problem that the anime will most probably be way off character.
One last thing is that a Harvest Moon anime will lose the whole concept of what harvest moon is about. The game series focuses on a ranching story, but it'll turn it into a romance story instead. Like a really bad and cliche' fanfic.

It would be interesting to see what the storyline would be, maybe something along the lines of AWL that would show the character age and things like that.
I don't think it would ever happen because the demand wouldn't be large enough and it would probably be kind of boring. Most HM games get boring after awhile, an anime most definitely would.
But it's still a good idea.

Well, maybe it would be loosely based off of Harvest Moon, and they'd make it all cutesy like Bottle Fairy, or something? It would probably have the female farmer as the main character, in full/mostly chibi-style. It could possibly be kind of along the same plot as Magical Melody, in which you're trying to save/find/rescue the Harvest Goddess, and you could maybe have a bunch of cutsey little adventures with the townsfolk, and all their traits could be somewhat over-exaggerated, or something.
