Hey, everyone. 3nodding Here is a fanfiction on Doctor Who, but I have been inspired by Wolf's Rain, too. This will become more obvious in the next chapter. wink

Everything was running normally. The void ship was floating as lonely as a singleton star through the infinite void, the computers showing no signs of life outside the vessel. Then very suddenly, the main computer’s orb-shaped screen, which was usually electric blue in colour, had turned a bright turquoise. Then black, smokey swirls had started to appear, dancing on the screen like fresh, black blood wafting through a turquoise ocean. This could only mean one thing. And that thing was life.
“Life-form located. Location- outside void ship.” Reported Thay.
“Investigate.” Ordered Sec.
“I obey.”
Thay temporally broke down the walls of the void ship then went to look for the detected organism. What Thay found was a tiny, solid-black female void wolf pup with glowing silver-white eyes. The communications barrier was lowered so Daleks Sec, Caan and Jast could also see what Thay had found.
“How shall we deal with the life-form?” Said Thay.
“Exterminate it!!” Jast blurted out without thinking, as Daleks usually do.
Sec suddenly turned on Jast. “No!! This organism must survive!!” Jast glided back a few inches in shock and glanced at Caan.
Why does he want it alive? What makes this organism so different that even the Daleks are forbidden to harm it?
“I do not understand. This life-form is not of Dalek origin, there-fore it must be inferior.” Said Thay.
“No, it is not of Dalek origin, but it is superior to that.”
“Superior?” Screeched Thay, Jast and Caan in shock and possibly anger.
“That is correct. It is the incarnation of Skaro’s sun.” Explained Sec.
“Then what shall we do with it?” Said Thay.
“Bring it aboard the void ship, we must protect it.” Answered Sec.
“I obey.”
At that moment, Caan decided it would be a good idea to see if the genesis ark was in prime condition.
Thay returned to the void ship with the celestial incarnation and placed her at Sec’s base. Sec scanned the dark pup with his sucker arm and eyestalk.
“The incarnation is female, but this is not her only shape.” Announced Sec.
Thay and Jast exchanged glances in surprise.
Not her only shape?
“But that would make her a shape shifter.” Said Thay.
“That is impossible!!” Screeched Jast.
Sec lowered his eyestalk, shook his dome, then raised his eyestalk again.
No, Jast. If shape shifting was impossible then so would incarnation and evolution.
“Then how does she shape shift?” Questioned Jast.
Sec turned his eyestalk to the pup, who was now trying to howl.
Observe.
A bright white glow started to appear around the young void pup’s chest, and quickly spread to cover the rest of her body, then slowly faded away. Where the pup once was the most beautiful human hatchling mortal and immortal beings could ever set eyes on, was sleeping in a perfect, pale skinned, black haired bundle wearing a nylon and velvet reddish black dress.
Thay and Jast glided back and shook their domes in shock.
How is this possible? Explain!! Explain!!
Caan returned from looking after the genesis ark and saw the young, sleeping human. He looked at Sec, Thay and Jast in confusion.
What is this? Where is the incarnation?
“Where is the void pup?” Caan asked Sec.
“This is the incarnation of Skaro’s sun in her human form.” Explained Sec.
“So this is the void pup?!” Said Caan in surprise.
But Sec had his eyestalk lowered in deep thought.
Jast turned his dome to look at Sec.
What is the matter?
“What is wrong?” Said Caan.
“Nothing, I just think we should give the incarnation a name.” Answered Sec.
“There is a good human name, it is Tiffany.” Said Sec.
“But humans are inferior beings!!” Retorted Jast.
“No, Jast!! Humans may be inferior, but their names are not.” Replied Sec.
Caan, Thay and Jast dipped their eyestalks slightly.
Tiffany it shall be.
They decided to choose a surname for Tiffany from their deoxyribonucleic acid letter codes. When they merged the letter combinations they got Zycoisel, which they all thought sounded like a very high-ranking name. Tiffany stirred in her sleep and growled contentedly, then she shape shifted into a leopard panther cub. But this was no ordinary panther form. Unlike most panthers that are black-red and have rosette patterns on their fur, Tiffany was solid black.
Caan told Jast to scan Tiffany. She twitched and her eyes started to flicker.
“Report.” Ordered Sec.
“The incarnation is awakening.” Announced Jast.
Tiffany slowly started to open her eyes. First, she only opened them a slit, so that only her pupils could be seen, but when she had fully opened them they were a brilliant, bright amber colour.
Tiffany shook herself, stretched, and then got to her paws. Suddenly she raised her head. She had caught a scent. She changed into her void pup form so its meaning would become clearer to her. Tiffany snarled. There were two separate scents, but they seemed to be merged together as one. She flicked her left ear in confusion.
What could it mean?
Then it all became clear to her. The scents were of Flidor gold and Arkellis flower, sometimes very important true Daleks used them in their casing, as did weredaleks. The smell of black was tangled up in the gold and flower scents, but this was perfectly normal.
Tiffany decided that was enough investigating and started play hunting with the computer wires, but only succeeded in getting herself tangled up. She growled in embarrassment and shot out so fast from the tangle of wires that a couple snapped and leaked out a glowing, bright green fluid. She shook some of the liquid from her coat then scratched her back and flank, the static electricity in the liquid gave her an itch.
Tiffany then rubbed her back along the walls of the void ship to get rid of the excess static and liquid. She yipped in surprise when she pawed the wall after she had scratched herself and got a small electric shock.
Tiffany shape shifted into a juvenile peregrine falcon. Unlike most peregrines, this raptor form had pure black feathers and striking, beautiful bright blue eyes. Although Tiffany’s human form was still very vulnerable and only really capable of sleeping, drinking and eating, most of her other forms were already capable of investigating the world for themselves, though still too young to survive on their own. Tiffany flew to Sec and perched on his sucker arm, then preened her chest and shoulder feathers.
When she had done that, she hopped around looking for anything edible. She found a piece of iron wire and ate that, then decided she was tired and shape shifted into her human form. She could go to sleep sooner then, because that’s all her human form seemed to do. This puzzled Tiffany, she wondered why this form was so far behind in development than her other forms. She curled into a bundle, closed her glowing bright blue eyes and went to sleep.
