It's to be expected, honestly. I had a wtf moment today when I logged on and saw that you had posted topics in all those forums that really had nothing at all to do with this.
I say keep it confined to the most relevant forums. And really, I think maybe the advertising should just stop for a little bit. Cruise the forums; if you see someone you think might have interest then send them an invite. Making that many topics obviously pissed someone off, and it's hurting more than helping.

advertising on a mule account is a good idea, idk why I never thought of it lol. probably cuz i didn't consider what i was posting as spam, but yea...
i don't really want to spend all my time advertising, i just wanted to set up some threads i could bump once a day. i think getting in good with other people's guilds is a good source of members too. or have the guild linked on popular threads. blah, so much work! i wish people would just search for the guild and join on their own xp

May did nothing wrong in my opinion... This is a far reaching issue that people are simply either incapable of grasping or obstinately ignoring. Any and all "forums / topics" are breached by the subject sooner or later. And Gaia promotes a fractionated mindset and thought process by making the claim that each item does not overlap. neutral ******** 'em. mayamaeru i wish people would just search for the guild and join on their own xp Hun those that are willing to do that are the ones that are already awake enough to search of their own accord. Few and far between in this place. rolleyes

I doubt you're going to pull in likeminded people all of a sudden no matter what we attempt. I was branded "a stuck-up British b***h who only believes the BBC" just by giving a view on the US Healthcare reform so I don't think they'll suddenly take in what's said here. Then again I attract jerks. I'm a hateable person.

I just think it's important to understand that people are less likely to listen to you if you're constantly forcing something at them; and that's how it is probably being perceived.
Those that are interested will come; those that aren't will have fun with their witty insults and then move on. Pressing the issue just makes everyone hate you.
I, personally, think that there's been enough advertisement done for the time being. And I still like the idea of just inviting individuals while browsing forums. Heck, you could even set up a thread in the guild so that members can suggest users who might be worth inviting to join the guild. That way we can have the whole guild working at recruiting rather than just the owner.
This also seems a good deal more covert than putting a wall of text in every forum, but that's just my opinion.

The mods really are losing their touch nowadays.
There was this anime porn picto spam thread that survived in the anime forum for 2 days once. Despite 6 pages full of porn, it went completely unnoticed. neutral
