It's about time, eh? I got my first one back in December, and have just now set up everyone's profile. Moogz is a lazy bum with a lot of homework and an attention span deficiency, apparently. XD All is good, though, because now I can focus on other matters -- like roleplaying!

First, let's get the rules out of the way...
:☼: Rules :☼: 1. Please refrain from posting in this thread. As a profile base, this thread is suppose to be used solely for informational purposes for my characters. If you want to contact me about anything in here or wish to roleplay, shoot me a PM or catch me in the shop -- I won't bite! 2. Do not steal any of the artwork displayed or linked on this page. Art theft is a crime! If you want to get your hands on one, catch an event in the shop instead! 3. I have the authority to add any other rules up here at my discretion if I feel there is a need to. So, you feel like roleplaying with anybody that you see in here? Well then, this is a good section to stop by! Unless you actually find most of the information in here useless, it may help with any decision-making or questions you may have.
First off, I would like to state that I prefer to keep my characters to one roleplay at a time. There will be some leniency here, as there are times that roleplays end up stalling for too long or a person has dropped off the face of Gaia. If there is someone that is in a roleplay that you just must roleplay with, I'm probably not going to say "no" unless said character has been having some major plot development in the other roleplay. As long as you've read this section, I'm happy. X3
I don't mind pairing up any of my characters with another of the same gender, unless it's stated that they are completely against it. However, there shouldn't be too many that are stuck on that mindset, if any at all, so you shouldn't have any problems with this.
I really enjoy action roleplays. I lean towards liking violent roleplays better than most others, particularly because I have a sadistic hobby of injuring/maiming the characters that I like. >.>; If you don't mind roleplays like that, let me know, because I haven't been able to participate in one in a long while. And, gee, we even have a subforum dedicated to them now! 8D
And finally... I am a full-time college student, so I may end up being the one that "drops off the face of Gaia" temporarily. I try to at least stop in to the main shop, though, at least to let people know what's going on with me. Due to this, roleplays might not pick up for lengths at a time. Just keep in mind that roleplays might be a little slow sometimes, and all should be good!

Personality: A jack-of-all-trades sort of person, Raiquen likes to take up any odd jobs that he happens to pass by solely for the experience of something new. Outwardly, he is rather easy-going and friendly -- even a bit of a flirt -- but he keeps anything personal about himself well-guarded. He isn't the most social Katorai around, sometimes even lacking in a very lengthy attention span, but he has shown signs of knowing more than he lets on. He doesn't get attached to people very easily, and even then he may not show it very often.
Significant Other/Crush: None

Parents: Unknown
Blood Siblings: Unknown
History: It isn't known what caused Raiquen to stop aging once he reached adolescence, and he doesn't seem to want to tell. Due to his companionship to the permapup Jagmi, however, most people assume that Raiquen has fallen under the same curse as the young Xio. Whether or not this is true remains to be seen, as he appears to enjoy remaining the resident mystery.
One thing is known, however. It is said that Raiquen found Jagmi soon after the spell had been cast on the pup, and their friendship started there. Despite this, neither of them has ever revealed if Raiquen was already stuck in age himself by this point, or if he went back to speak with the Shadoles himself and ended up getting cursed as well. According to them, it doesn't really matter, though.
Other Notes: Currently, if you want to roleplay with Raiquen, make sure that you realize you'll be getting Jagmi in the roleplay as well!

Personality: Although a lot older than he appears, Jagmi likes to stay as puppish as his outward appearance entails. He is curious and naive, to the point of being ridiculous about it. Not only that, but he is an air-headed ditz to boot. He has his "brilliant points" in that he will randomly point out something deeply insightful, but for the most part, he takes great pleasure in being the comic relief of a situation. He is very optimistic, perhaps unusually so, and can very rarely be seen sad or angry.

History: When Jagmi was rather young, curiosity got the better of him and he ended up playing the role of the daredevil. Daring himself to take on random quests to pass the time, the requests began getting more and more outrageous until he finally went too far.
He liked to watch the Shadoles around the entrance to the Underworld, oftentimes wondering numerous things at once about the odd creatures, their home, and the cemetery where the entrance had been erected. Out of the blue, he one day also wondered if the Shadoles tasted as good as they appeared, with their peppermint-spun stripes. So, can we see where this is going?
After daring himself to take up the question and find the answer, he decided the best way to get the Shadoles to appear when he wanted them to was to dig around the dirt, upset the spirits into sending someone to stop him. Well, it worked, however not exactly as planned. Instead of going right to Jagmi and asking him to stop, the Shadoles decided to play a little prank on the pup as well, to send him packing. Want to take a crack at what happened?
Unfortunately, the effects of the prank ended up being permanent, so Jagmi had to live with forever being a pup. Not that he really minded; he probably would have been eaten alive by the other Xio if he had grown to adulthood with the personality he has acquired!
Other Notes: Currently, Jagmi insists going into any roleplay that Raiquen is in -- they've become a two-for-one deal!

Personality: Honestly, he likes flowers, he really does. However, due to the teasing that Chanthou's had to endure while growing up, the pup has grown to be rather spiteful and distant, taking up learning the art of the warrior instead. In a way, he's gotten rather good at manipulating others' underestimation about the purple male, turning it into his advantage. He by no means wants to remain as distant as he has become, but he has become rather paranoid about the world, and sometimes is unable to listen to reason.

History: It is difficult for one to learn much about Chanthou at all. His parents are nowhere to be found, so it was assumed that they had either died or abandoned the pup upon birth. He holds no bonds to them, either, probably as a result of never really knowing them. He grew up in a rather unfriendly neighborhood before traveling to Hinotori, but still reacts to occurrences as if they were all bad.
Other Notes: Don't be discouraged by his attitude in roleplay -- he just tends to hate most of the world. It's not your character's fault!

Personality: Brave but not as strong as she'd like to think of herself, Akello tends to put herself in harm's way without thinking about the consequences if it's for somebody she feels an attachment to or has respect for. She can be a bit gruff and blunt, casting an air that makes some people think she's unapproachable. She isn't afraid to speak her mind or be herself, but she has a strong sense of loyalty and determination. She makes no status identification between Katorai and Xio, as she considers herself to be both and neither.

History: Abandoned and left to survive at such a young age, Akello quickly stepped up to the plate to become the guardian and protector of her and her siblings. Ready to face any threat with whatever was at her disposal, she taught herself how to live in such an unforgiving environment, passing it down to any of her siblings that would listen.
After being discovered by the residents of Hinotori, they offered her and her siblings a respite from the harsh elements, but she turned them down. She never minded if her siblings would rather live in the villages -- in fact, she encouraged it -- but she preferred to remain out in the wild where she could protect everyone easier. She still heads into town every now and then, especially if she is unable to sustain herself due to circumstance, but always heads back out as soon as she is able.
Other Notes: She's still not used to towns, so would most likely not be found in one at this point.
