The Lake

Also called "The Black Lake" or "The Loch," the Lake is located before Hogwart's castle. First-years cross this lake in boats to enter the castle. The Lake is home to mermaids and other magical creatures, as well as, various plants used for herbology and potions classes. It is also a nice place to take a swim...if you're carefull...
