k, so I has been just regularly working out at home daily, begun jogging since its getting warmer, and overall trying to improve my self confidence in general by proxy.
I've always loved going to the pool, and when we'd go on vacation to a hotel with a pool, anytime we're stuck at the hotel, I'd spend all my time in the pool.
Recently, I've noticed there's a rec center in my area with both a fitness area and a pool. which is slammin. Only catch is because I live just outside the resident area, it'd cost me $240 for a year of unlimited visits. Now, this would also require me to bug the s**t out of Shoy to drive me there on a whim so I could get the full value, but A POOL DUDES. Thing is, I got $300 with my mum that was a present for graduation I have never spent. So I could easily get it.
Thing is I also want to get an X360 (possibly the bundle with FFXIII). Which the elite runs around $300.
Granted, I'll eventually get a job, and be able to spend and save more.
Thing is, do I get the Rec Center membership, the 360, or save my money because I am a college student with no license?

I'd only go for the membership if you were ABSOLUTELY SURE you were going to go enough to get your money's worth. I'd say... I'd probably say not get it yet. As much as I advocate staying active and stuff like that... I'd say you're better off either getting the X-box, or saving it. Once you get a job and pay for the membership with money you earned on your own you'll be more likely to make use of it and therefore not let it get to waste, you know?

That's a tough one! My video gamer side is telling me to tell you to get the bundle because IT'S FFXIII and it's not unlimited.
My healthy side is kicking my video gamer side and saying you should go for the active lifestyle choice.
Buttt... in the end, the rec center will be there and the FFXIII bundle probably won't be.
I SEE YOUR DILEMMA. ;D;

Who the ******** exercises GOD.
But realistically, one will be used and will be around for years, and one... won't? And I could see you using the xbox a lot, and even if you didn't- no biggie. It's still there. Not to much for a membership.
Then again... pool = topless Hiru...

Does the rec center have a trial membership or monthly plan so that way you can try it to see if you really want to go there for a year. Pretty much agree with everyone saying to only do that if you are sure.
But a 360 will last for years. And the FFXIII bundle won't be around for a while like the membership would be.
Then again, saving money isn't a bad idea for eventually getting a car after you get your license.

It's whatever you want dude, but the thing with the FFXIII thing is that it's $400 and very limited, but it comes with 2 controllers and a 250 GB Hard drive. /working at gamestop keep me up to date with useless s**t
I'd say use it on the membership only if you're sure that you'd be going pretty much all the time so you wouldn't be wasting your money.
If it were me I'd just save the money for something that you might want more one day since you've been jogging daily and pretty much keeping in shape that way.

how much is it for the pool normally?
unless you go every day it's probably not worth it
and shoy probably has nothing to do at dat rec centre
i say go for the vidja gaems
